Yet again, you come produce a great video! One question, though. Have you seen any failures with the shank to hook connections like that instead of using wire? This method seems like such an easier way and you don't have to play around with trailer wire! Keep the sweet videos coming!
Eric, We have not had any issues using the shank for the connection. However we do super glue it and put an excessive amount of thread wraps down to make sure its locked in!

that is mental , just tied my first pike flys using shanks and they move crazy good . like you say its a game changer , nice work

Killer fly man. I wasn't keeping tract at first, but that has to take 2 full brushes.
It uses three different size brushes, 3/4", 1 1/2", and 3". If you get a pack of each size you can tie roughly 6-8 flies.
I need to take a nap after watching that. looks awesome.

He's been catching some big fish on flies using that connection for a while now.
