No child understands unless a prodigy(karma from previous jnanas)..one has to experience cold to enjoy warmth. Similarly one has to go through the desire of material wealth and ego to be mature enough to understand this

@@saiprasad5312yes sir.. Only the self should realise on its own experiencing prarabhdhas.. Then he can see the light.. But jnanam dagdham karma.. So I feel the only way to teach kids or young ppl is to practice empathy.. The highest form of human emotion and humanity meaning... Thereby they automatically get discriminatory power to rule out and for that... Each has to work on his soul level to reform our young genre only through love.. Thereby self-sufficiency is attained and realised divinity in every being.. But its all divine plan.. Let's spread goodness.. And even I think a lot of how to start educating young souls to aim for highest happiness amidst gadget world who craves for instant happiness..

@@honest_bishop5905 see, hinduism is very vast, and more than scriptures it is about the merge of soul (atma) with the parabrahma ( supreme being) , so who helps you doing it, like in this case amma, becomes a holy figure for you. And once Goddess adi shakti (female form of parabrahma) told her son Lord Ganapati that she lives in every form of life on earth , she said she life and the creative energy of this world . And the scripture part, it tells you about how reach the parabrahma.

You can refer for the spaces appear in this video and just copy the spaces in between the words, so that people who use the lyrics will leave gaps between the words when they sing along which will make correct meaning as per Sanskrit version which is genuine and original. Reading the English lyrics without leaving gaps at the appropriate places will not make any meaning. Bear with me if I am wrong.

Communism is just about human rights & fair pay for your work. To be against that, as you 3 are showing, is deeply sad. Letting politicians overshadow the religious message. Division is always bad.

One day I was shopping for some Hindustani classical music CDs, and out of curiosity, decided to buy couple of CDs (Suprabhatam, Bhaja Govingam, and Vishnu Sahasranama) by M.S Subbalakshmi. Since then I cannot imagine a single day not listening to this divine lady's soul-stirring, melodious voice for the last 14-15 years. As soon as I wake up, my mind craves for Suprabhatam in her voice only. Although I did not fully understand the meaning of each scripture, her voice made me addicted to it, and I started learning these holy words using printed copies while listening.
Every time I hear her rendition, its like Lord Vishnu communicating to us through her. I am so grateful for precious persons like her to originate from India, and do such a great service for so many decades. Although I started as a fan of Hindustani classical music, I am very much in love with Carnatic music as well, thanks to this wonderful Goddess!
All the Classical Artists (NOT the Bollywood garbage) of India without exceptions, and regardless of their faith are the direct messengers of that Supreme Being who wants to talk with us through them! Long live M.S.... Long Live Sanatan Dharma.... Long live India and her treasure house of scriptures and wealth of knowledge...

It is said that when at kashi adi shakarachaya saw an old man struggling to learn sanskrit language. Shakarachaya was amazed to see that the little time the old man had, he was spending in mundane things ( just to learn a language)
At that time adi shakarachaya burst out with BHAJA GOVINDAM, just to showcase the foolish consciousness of the human beings and to direct them to the real TRUTH !!
Adi shakarachaya's ideology is the main pillar of Hinduism today!

Then what is life? What should one do? Spend every day praying? And that will please God? Like a King who is happy that we are singing his praises and will then reward those cronies? That is Christianity & Islam - apparently you have to pray to the "right" God and he will then reward you or torture you endlessly if you don't get his name right
Is that us? Life is all about making sure we get to get the nice happy life after death?
      Karma - means Action - that's it!
Basically it is saying our Karmas decides our fate
The old man was trying to improve himself - what a great thing
Sankaracharya spent his entire life fighting to save Hinduism - is that not a great thing as well?
To spend one's life trying to improve ourselves, to do something great - is that not what is life all about?

    • @ramaraksha01

@S L why do you get so abusive? I am Hindu! Just have a diff view of life - i dont believe there is anything after death - life is not about working to get to some magic land in the sky by praying to this God or that
That is Christianity & Islam - not Hinduism
Our place is here on earth - that is why Hinduism preaches Reincarnation
You can disagree but please be nice show that you have some culture

    • @ramaraksha01
      @ramaraksha01 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@S L again you start of well but cant stop your abusive mouth can you?
Did you not read that i am Hindu? Do you even take the time to read before getting abusive?
      A different opinion
Fyi - christians & muslims are the people whohope to run away to magic lands in the sky - these people are cowards
It is Hinduism that says we belong here that is why Hunduism preaches Reincarnation
      READ! UNDERSTAND! THEN COMMENT!

      @PratapHarode 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

@@ramaraksha01 Hey.. You should read the entire meaning of Bhaja Govindam (if you didnt already). This is one of the most effective stotra to create the sense of detachment in oneself. It makes us ponder over our temporary relations, emotions, lust and greed. Also, it doesn't mention to leave your dharma (work). It says that in yoga or pleasure, whatever state you are in, concentrate your mind in that supreme consciousness (Govindam here signifies Brahman). Also, it applies to everyone, be it Christan or Islam or Hindu, as the eternal truth and Brahman is one. So, basically it means to focus our mind on that Supreme Consciousness (Brahman/ Govindam)

    • @ramaraksha01
      @ramaraksha01 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@PratapHarode I admire Sankaracharya greatly - so I hope my words are not taken the wrong way. It is a bit difficult to clearly understand the meaning of his words, after all he is not here to tell us, he may just be describing life in general
We have it tough now, esp in old age, but this is nothing compared to what elders endured back in the past & that is what he seems to be saying rather than give us a message
But we Indians seem beaten down by life - we want peace & happiness and one way to do that is to detach ourselves - not care anymore
The Buddha taught the same thing - no more desires, one is happy
But that also means rejecting or running away from life
Happiness is not something to be pursued, it should be a by-product
Happiness is something that we get based on what we do
Einstein was happy to work on math - he spent hours and hours working on his craft - that is what gave him joy
Your quote on focusing the mind on the Brahman, makes Brahman sound like a King/Dictator - courtiers praising him sky-high and then we will get rewarded? We get to go to some magic land and live in peace for eternity? So basically we are after the easy life?
We may end up as Trees, Rocks, Animals - all have the easy life of zero worries or responsibilities
What worries does a Tree have?
What problems does a Rock have? Is a rock at peace? I would say yes, is that where you are ending up?

Adi Shankara had said this in Bhaja Govindam :
    मा कुरु धनजनयौवनगर्वं
    हरति निमेषात्कालः सर्वम् ।
    मायामयमिदमखिलं हित्वा
    ब्रह्मपदं त्वं प्रविश विदित्वा ॥ ११॥
Do not boast of wealth, friends, and youth. Each one of these are destroyed within a minute by time. Free yourself from the
illusion of the world of Maya and attain the timeless Truth.
For the entire verses that's been composed by him, I regard Adi Shankara a genius.
The wisdom is in limiting the role of all things temporary and
self-serving (to an extent) in your life, and reconciling yourself with
the permanent - the one timeless truth that he refers to as Govinda.
Control/moderate your senses & passions. Spend time meditating
about the concept of the supreme force&laws that govern the
universe. Realize it's immensity, it's permanence and timelessness. That
is the path to pure bliss for anyone, no matter your social condition
or state of sufferings. It's a drug, a delusion, that's probably the
    best of em all.
All worldly heavens - the communist heaven, the liberal heaven, the
    uber-scientific progressive heaven, nationalistic/globalistic heavens
etc, are at the end of it all - temporary.
Anybody having understood the second law of thermodynamics would know
that small pockets of complexity (like our Earth) thrive in a vast
expanse of disorderliness, high-entropy and simplicity. But the total
entropy of the universe only increases. All complex structures will
eventually dissipate and decay and the fate of the universe is the heat
death. No worldly heaven, even if realized, would last. (Our forefathers
even had a name for this force of destruction/transformation/decay - Shiva)
But only Govinda will survive that, because he/it/that is
the universe. Therefore make time to comprehend the universe, it's
expanse and realize how your mortal life is essentially one
insignificant and fleeting wave in that vast ocean.
    Hence :
    भज गोविन्दं भज गोविन्दं
    गोविन्दं भज मूढमते ।
    सम्प्राप्ते सन्निहिते काले
    नहि नहि रक्षति डुकृङ्करणे ॥ १॥
Worship Govinda, worship Govinda, worship Govinda, Oh Moorkh!!
Rules of grammar will not save you at the time of your death.
