Good video. I'd probably add the hu101 in there as well. But just depends on your area, I have quite a few ford's that use it.

I worked as a automotive mechanic professionally for thirty years and I ended up with some spine damage. Well I figured to give this automotive locksmith business a shot since I already had a lot of the equipment. Your videos are a great help .

I appreciate your honesty. Thanks for recommending what you feel we need instead of the high ticket items..

Great info. I still struggle with lishi's even with practice. Some days I can get a lock on the first try and other days, it's a crap shoot.

What to stock is really going to depend on your area. When I started 4 years ago, I got the top 10 transponder pack from CLK and I still haven't used any of the Toyota or Honda keys. I ended up taking 2 different approaches for stock. 1-when someone contacted me about a key I didn't have, I ordered what they needed plus a couple to keep. 2-I drove around store parking lots and ordered keys for the vehicles I saw the most. In my case, h72-pt, h92-pt, y160-pt, and b111-pt.

As a locksmith for 30 years the master kit is overkill..you may NEVER use some of those models..Pick the models you see in your area 10 models or so is good coverage in most cases. Your recommendation kit is pretty good!

Quick question where would you buy programmers and key cutting machines from ? Can you trust the Chinese wholesale websites? Thanks

Hey man I’ve had issues with nearly every supplier, just read the reviews and do your research. I can only recommend ones that I truly trust.

I started off with a banggood key duplicator that works...just requires constant calibration. I also got a banggood high security machine that I have never successfully cut a key with.

Nice info just check what dealers are in your area and look around parking lots and see what people are driving and look up most sold car make in your area get them to start and for lockouts have a lockout kit rod and bags because even if you’re doing keys Lishi’s might not get you in you have to get in you can get key cuts other ways. Lishi’s are still not a easy tool to use you have to practice a lot

Be leary of pdf's of the books...they may be real, scanned copies, but they aren't legal to share due to copy right laws. I scanned my set to pdf as a backup and I've had to print out and replace some pages in my books. Michael Hyde isn't putting out books anymore since he is focusing on the MyAutoSmart app. While the app doesn't seem to always have the same amount of info as the books, it's constantly getting updated.

Tip 1. On both cars try practicing on different locks.
I remember on a ford I could only get the tailgate lock too work for some reason.
Tip 2. Try picking different directions. Even if it’s too lock the car you will be able to decode it. Also sometimes people just have easier time picking a certain direction before they can pick all directions.
Tip 3. Don’t use too much strength while picking in fact use the minimum amount you can.

      Also there are multiple nsn14
Do you have the 8 cut or 10 cut?
Generally the 8 cut works better.
