During lockdown, I formed a 20yd track in my garden and started running end of March. By the end of June, I was able to run in excess of 10k a day - totalling 110k. I'm fundraising for an animal sanctuary - and I also wanted to prove you can be fit and healthy and strong into old age - I'll be 83 in September and I've been plant-based for 15 years. Prior to running each day I took a 125ml shot of beetroot juice and felt no aches or pains.

Nothing to do with this video in particular, but I’ve had high cholesterol my whole life (I’m 44 now.) I’ve been bombarding myself with your vids and PCRM videos, and I’ve been able to go about 80% vegan. I’m not at 100% yet because I’m still trying to work my way through some non-vegan foods I had frozen. Still, I was SHOCKED when I had a lipid profile done last week, and my total cholesterol had dropped from 262 in January to 215! Plus, my LDL was in the green! Wahoo for a whole food plant based diet!!!! Thanks for all your wonderful content. I’m a teacher and can’t afford to support you on Patreon, but I always make sure to watch the ads in your videos all the way through because in my head I think it helps. 😁 Thanks again!

My husband and I found out we had a dairy allergy (we all technically do lol), but we stopped eating dairy months before we went full vegan. We definitely saw results, but we didn't feel the FULL affects until we went 100% vegan. He's down 120 pounds, I'm down 110 and still going and my auto immune disease is GONE. My depression is also much more controlled and I am off my meds. I'm 32 and have more energy than I did when I was half my age. We've been vegan for 9 months now and are never going back. Trust me, go full vegan and you will feel better than you ever have. Keep going

Congratulations! I'm so happy for your success (: I've never been in better health or even known I could be until I switched to a whole food vegan diet ^-^ Also, you might probably make him more money by just clicking on the ads and loading up the destination landing pages. Even if you're not buying anything, I think there's an aspect of ad payments inherently tied to whether or not it generates clicks, because that's the #1 goal of an ad is to get you to click it and follow the link. Even the sales after that aren't necessarily the goal of the ad as much as the company who now has you from the ad.

Hi, watching the cherry juice part made me think of my step dad. He has gout, it's a very painful condition where uric acid builds up in the joints creating inflamation. We found a list of foods that help bring these uric acid levels down, one of the listed was cherries. Obviously numerous changes to his diet were made (no alcohol, less meat, more alkaline foods in general but he is still quite naughty eating things he shouldn't), he drinks cherry juice at every meal and hasn't had a breakout for 7 years now. (An idea for a video maybe? 😊)

I recommend two more things that I do and makes a noticeable difference. Before any form of exercise (I typically only do this before volleyball) 1/8 tsp cayenne with water. Try to drink fast if not consume it like a shot because it has a bite to it. Helps greatly with circulation. Secondly, try niacin(vitamin B3) in powdered form in water starting very low at about 1/16 tsp before any form of cardio that gets you sweating a lot. This causes blood to rush to the surface of your skin(harmless) and in combination with the sweating expedites the removal of toxins from your bloodstream. Feels incredibly relaxing afterwards. Love the vid.

Switching to a whole foods vegan diet was the #1 best decision I ever made. I never imagined or comprehended that my health could be so kind blowingly amazing, and this is just the tip of the iceberg lettuce!
I went from having a strong aversion to any form of physical activity to loving MANY forms of physical activity as one of my all-time favourite treasures in life.
Check it out, this is my story!
So, to start, I've always been a sensitive and compassionate person, but definitely never made the link between animal products and the abused entailed, as I had been carefully trained to never inquire about that.
During the winter of 2015, I watched the documentary Earthlings on Netflix, witnessing the terrors of the factory farm industry I had been supporting for so long for the VERY FIRST TIME in my life.
Having always been a deeply compassionate and sensitive person, this unveiling truth RATTLED my soul to the CORE and initiated my first experience with exceptionally deep expurgation.
I immediately went entirely plant-based afterwards, leaving behind meat forever --sparking the most profound and ineffably precious transformation in my life that I've ever had the blessing of experiencing.
After a long time, when I finally felt like my heart had settled enough to consider looking again, I revisited the documentary of Earthlings by rewatching it and watching Dominion and realized the horror that my nonvegan actions were causing.
Having been FULLY VEGAN for so long now, I have experienced an acceleration of such potently salubrious health outcomes that I had never before previously imagined might even been graspable for me in my lifetime, and yet it STILL just gets better and better every year!
My mind has been opened at my limitless potential and possibilities. I've become astronomically more deeply in tune with myself and my spirituality than I ever have before, now being in alignment with my innermost values.
As far as my physical health, I feel so pumped with life force energy that I get cravings to work out and feel rapturous during and after the workouts. I'm astounded by the exceptionally prodigious experience that I'm having and more amazingly know that it is ONLY just the tip of the iceberg!
I'll find myself sometimes crying tears of joy sometimes because I feel so wonderful, I usually feel excellently balanced/vibrant as a baseline, and I've never felt nor measured so well in my physical health by every consideration!
I feel as though I've been given a precious miracle of the truth of life. After discovering Nutritionfacts.Org, among countless other fantasic resources for quality information --I ignited my passion for research, especially in the sphere of health, and have now decided to become a whole foods, plant-based registered dietician with the Dieticians for Professional Integrity ^-^ Not only that, but I have mountains of vegan research in sustainability, ethics, and health, and soon pandemics gathered which is ever expanding in depth and quality

I mean those jug sized glass mugs people, more so vegans it seems, use to chug down entire smoothie meals) there seems to be a danger of too much spinach. I always look forward to ypur videos. There's a relevant note to be taken: Although antioxidants are very important for maximum metabolic protection and recovery, acute oxidative stress from exercise has proven to be key as a signaling factor for adaptative responses (e.g. hypertrophy). That's why, theoretically speaking, you don't want to be shoving down highly antioxidant-rich foods *or specially supplements* right after and/or during your workout. How much time should you wait? I don't really know, probably not much.

Hey man, just a heads up, your face is quite green, pretty sure it's due to a green screen background. Best advice is to separate yourself from the background more, you're just too close so it's reflecting quite strongly. Another option that will help slightly is to bring your magentas up in whatever program you use. Your video editing is good, just the green.. and I know you have a keen eye so I assume it's just because of lack of available options, but just in case. Anyway keep up with the good work.
Also if your green screen just isn't big enough and that's why you have to be close, you can just back up and use a more telephoto lens, I would recommend at least an 85mm lens to help with compression to bring the background closer (not physically, just a trick)
I'm a professional photographer, feel free to message me for any lighting, recording or camera advice.
