Make sure to use 5w20 oil, fill oil filter before installing. This will get the oil into the engine faster, preventing wear damage. I like the flipping of the oil gasket trick, I have never seen anyone do that before!
I like the video but the guy did not start the car before checking the oil level, it is important to make sure and run the vehicle for about a minute to fill the filter with oil, then turn the engine off before checking the level. The filter holds around a pint or more of oil and this needs to be done prior to checking the level.
One, the filters have an anti-drainback valve that prevents the oil from draining out of the filter when you shut the car off, and two as small as these oil filters hold no more than a few ounces of oil at most the raw volume of the can for longer filter that fits these engines (Fram 7317 or equivalent) is only like 11oz but when you take into account the media cartridge and other lost volume in the filter I doubt it even holds half a pint.
by oiling both sides of the gasket, you make it more likely that the gasket will end up sticking to the car body. If u simply oil the original exterior side, then it will prevent sticking to car body/side and it's fine if it sticks to the filter itself, as designed! (unless i'm not thinking of some other factor?)

@@brandonupchurch7628 the fact if you do fill the oil filter first that would help but I would still start it first to check for leaks

You forgot too allow for what the oil filter takes so your probably 1/2 qt low.

Check your sway bar end links, rear low control arm bushings and trailing arm bushings.
