    My BJJ instructor uses rolls as a warm up and never take any time to explain it to new members... So, as a brand new white belt, THANK YOU so much for this drill !!

    Perfect. I was looking for this to improve my wrestling / bjj. 👍
    On another note, always wondered how Steven Seagal survived by not doing any of this 😂😂.

    Is it normal for your right shoulder to be sore afterwards. How do we not injure our shoulders

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is normal, especially if there is some impact. I would suggest focusin on smooth rocking before attempting to roll, and then focusing on a smooth transition to the ground. Hope this helps!

      Maybe try getting a thicker mat, or it should pass with time as your body gets used to it.

    A lost cause for me. My vertigo and dizziness issues killed my career in grappling. Pity. If taken to the ground I’m toast.
