I agree, they should have included a couple of VIP Bots specific to the OG Playroom games that eventually spawned Astro Bot (maybe the Ninjas from this and the mice and cat Bots from The Playroom VR - the music from these minigames reappear in Astro Bot so having their characters as VIP Bots would be a good way to pay it back). They're as much a part of PlayStation history as the rest of the series the other VIP Bots represent (perhaps moreso, since Team Asobi outlived the original Japan Studio to give us Astro Bot).
You should see the new one on ps5, it looks and feels amazing. I played my friends earlier, I would do bad things to get my hands on one after experiencing the controller alone😂
