Exactly, Jay R. That was Arkansas-style ball. Take care of the basketball (only 5 TO's all game). Play tight, tenacious and sound D. Make your free throws (Hogs shot 80% from the charity stripe). I also was proud of the Hogs for appearing to be mostly steady and poised down the stretch, w/solid situational awareness.
Vermont has a very good and consistent program. Always good defense and balanced offense, while also being very well coached. Vermont could beat any team thats seeded 16-6.

Vermont missed a couple free throws that would’ve helped at the end and Arkansas shoots a great percentage at the line that wins them close ball games all year. Free throws matter

Vermont got throttled, refs kept them in this game, Williams could take all 5 in a fight no chance for soft white kid from Vermont. Tell them next time to think twice when you square up on Davis he was golden gloves 3 years. And won an mma tournament.

You can see the moment the player slapped the hog players arm when trying to steal. Therefore a foul. Also refs missed the play where the Vermont player threw the ball away. Vermont had more than 5 players on the court most of that game.

Vermont won the play in game in 2012. Before that, they beat Syracuse in the first round. They've had a couple of close games, but never gone deep.
