It’s cool when voice actors aren’t so full of themselves and are generous with doing voices publicly. That’s what the audience wants to hear. He seems like a guy that really enjoys his job and appreciates his audience.
Jess is an amazing person both as an actor and a person, he has taken time on multiple trips to Salt Lake City to not only visit patients at primary children’s and Shriners hospital, but also he will spread a whole evening at the Ronald McDonald house . He has visited with myself and my son many times and encouraged my son in his drawing pursuits. I understand the only person who doesn’t really like him is his neighbor, who happens to be Bill Shatner, but it’s alright cause Shatner still thinks Jess is Gene Simmons 🤣

Andrea Romano is an absolute legend. She is responsible for casting and/or directing a bunch of the 80s Hanna-Barbera cartoons, the 90s WB cartoons and nearly all of the DCAU.
The buried lede of this story is Andrea Romano is such a good voice director that she can co-create an iconic cartoon voice on the spot without really trying.
It's amazing how voice actors make that process sound *so* easy, when really it's an extremely well-practiced skill combined with a willingness to "go there" improvisationally.

Now I can hear it without looking it up. When you hear something more and more you simply become familiar with it, so if your not a fan of the Beatles it is understandable that you can't hear the difference. Funny thing, a week or two ago i was at work by myself and for some reason decided to work on my Paul, John, George & Ringo voices, like make a short skit where they talk to each other & then Ringo goes on about how he wrote this cool song about an Octopuses Garden...changing my fake Liverpool accent, pitch, pace/speech mannerism slightly for each Beatle...then well a couple weeks later this just happens to show up on my recommended TH-cam? Man, they must be watching me...also, I drew Wakko on a dry-erase marker/bulletin board in break room at my job over a year ago...saying "Hello Nurse!" (At a health clinic full of hot nurses...but I'm the dirty old janitor guy)...it was an epic 1st attempt(i don't draw actual cartoon characters much) But yeah...Ringo Starr! He was Mister Conductor Before George Carlin too...a fun & difficult voice to mimmick imo...but this dude does it better than i ever will. *Hello Nurse!*

Funny thing, a week or two ago i was at work by myself and for some reason decided to work on my Paul, John, George & Ringo voices, like make a short skit where they talk to each other & then Ringo goes on about how he wrote this cool song about an Octopuses Garden...changing my fake Liverpool accent, pitch, pace/speech mannerism slightly for each Beatle...then well a couple weeks later this just happens to show up on my recommended TH-cam? Man, they must be watching me...also, I drew Wakko on a dry-erase marker/bulletin board in break room at my job over a year ago...saying "Hello Nurse!" (At a health clinic full of hot nurses...but I'm the dirty old janitor guy)...it was an epic 1st attempt(i don't draw actual cartoon characters much)
But yeah...Ringo Starr! He was Mister Conductor Before George Carlin too...a fun & difficult voice to mimmick imo...but this dude does it better than i ever will.

Don't you just love it when people don't even care enough to listen to you ( even when they are up at a podium ) and check their phone . He might as well just said "my life is more important than giving you 5 minutes of my attention".
Or the camera person could have made an intelligent choice.

the casting lady wasn't wrong all the beetles sound the same. they gravitated together how do you think they became a thing
People saying he nailed John, Paul or Ringo have obviously never heard John, Paul or Ringo.
I've yet to ever hear someone do John right. They always overdo the nasal tone.
I think he got their accents and inflection pretty well, but it's hard to capture their quality
Easily the best George I've heard anyone do & the rest were terrific as well.
I don't know how he maintains his energy
