    I’m a BGE and Blackstone guy but use a Q when visiting my sister-in-law’s home. I think the Q is a great little unit and have begun to consider getting one for myself for the occasional quick and convenient gas cooks. Thanks for sharing what you’ve learned about the newest models.

      Because why specifically?

      The new one definitely seems more cheaply made than the old one, less Weber and more like a third party has just made them in china

    I’d like to see a demonstration video of the old and the new side by side. Which one gets hotter quicker, which has better heat control, which is better to bake in, which is easier to clean…

      Working on these at the moment 👍👍

    Can’t u just fold down the Cole’s/woolies cheaper trays to the same height? Or trim them ?

    • @WeberEnthusiast
      @WeberEnthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Maybe , pretty , obvious why Weber put that height bar in the front though .
      I use the ones from woolies in my older baby q version 2.

    Loved the video. One question though, I have the old version, do you think it's worth upgrading to the new one from the older one?

      Thankyou I’ve had mine just over 3 wks now will be doing a follow up video comparing both pros and cons.
      Obviously I like to leave my reviews non bias and like viewers go off my experience as a consumer, with honest reviews of product I share. Hope this helps for now 👍🔔

    Good to see you again. Looks like a great bbq. I wont be buying though, very happy with my medium Q and I also picked up a free - yes free - working but filthy family Q. Great project to paint! I love the versatility of the two gas elements in the family, gets really hot for 2 pizzas at once, or you can have it low and slow on the small one only.
    On this one does it have the flame faililure device fitted now? I know a lot of caravanners were very upset as it was illegal to connect the previous one directly to the caravan gas bayonet.
    Also as for the foil tray, i just make my own to fit out of foil, you can adjust the height to cumtomise.
    Thanks for the review, Kerry, from South Aussie!!

      Thanks for awesome comment and continued support really appreciated.
      Nice pick up of the family q , bargain.
      Loved my family Q , which my eldest is now enjoying grilling on.
      The flame failure device is a seperate add on from Weber now .
      I wish it came with it as standard as had a few close calls relighting my baby q when gas has blown out in winter.
      Going to enjoy putting this through its paces with plenty of recipes to come and accessory reviews in the future. 👍👍

      @@WeberEnthusiast thank you for replying! Is the device able to be fit to all Qs or just the new model? Interesting.

    Also a big difference on the new baby Q 1200n is the increase in gas output from 8500mj to 10000mj. 😉

      Yeh they had to upgrade the burner tube for bigger chamber and grill plates .

    Looks alright mate. Side tables seem abit flimsy to be honest wonder how much weight they can take before breaking.
    Front collection tray is good not good about less height though bit cunning from Weber considering the Weber trays are an absolute rip off. Cheers

    • @WeberEnthusiast
      @WeberEnthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeh I haven’t bought Weber ones for yrs , since I found the ones in woolies. I’m going to test the tables over time .
      Hopefully Kaon design some replacements . Love the fact I can put heavy roasts on my other baby q kaon tables .

    for the trays, i recommend just using a layer of tin foil, that's even cheaper than buying a cheaper alternatives
