PROLOGUE:
On Sunday, October 25, 1992, two legends met for the first time. One of them was Virginia's finest. Number 611, the sole surviving member of Norfolk & Western's J Class steam locomotive. The other was the steepest mainline grade in America, known simply to the railroaders who worked on her as, "The Mountain of Challenge". On this day, the two would clash in an awesome spectacle that would inspire a new generation of railfans.
DESCRIPTION:
This a preview of larger video that will premier next week that recreates the 1992 trip over Saluda. It will also serve as a demonstration of my 611 Sound Pack that I also plan to release next week.
