Sorry for the late reply, I believe they are the neodymium as the winding pattern is quite unique which I think from memory this facilitates and also the magnetic strength was higher than usual hence the issues in getting the screws back in 😂

Hi, I have a high speed mini quad bike with this motor, I notice that it overheats, then the torque diminishes, so yes the motor could be the reason for the low mileage. Hope it helps.

Hi, they are reasonably high torque although with a bit of smart gearing they can be improved significantly
