Here's how you hold your elected officials accountable: 1. Put their phone numbers on speed dial; 2. Call them consistently about what you want them to do 3. Encourage your family and friends to do the same thing; 4. Remind your elected officials that your vote will go to someone else because that's how you hired them.
We have to speak to our family, friends and neighbors about doing the same thing. If people do not recognize their power, the "Manchins" of the world will keep doing nonsense.

It's true healthy food too expensive if all you have is $5 for lunch it's affordable to go to MD and get a burger, fries and drink and still get change back. I'm on a diet but it's hard to eat healthy on a budget!

No it's not. Apple cost .40-.80cents, bananas .44cents lbs, nuts and berries barely a dollar. You just choose to eat a ton. Water is free at most work places. If you want waste money and purchase water it's probably a dollar. Salad mix is .88cents. just keep it real, you don't want to eat healthy. You would rather stuff your face. Once you learn to be real with yourself, then you can make changes. That's why half of Americans are obese. They over eat, then blame it on eating healthy cost too much. No over eating cost too much.

Great conversation! If you are able to go to your local farmers market, the prices are a bit lower. I live in a country that gets a lot of food imported so if you think the prices are high in the U.S, its almost doubled here. However we also have more people growing their own fruits and vegetables; eating less processed foods.
