The rotli stuck to the top platter because you left it shut after pressong it. You have to lift the top platter immediately once you have pressed it.
Your rotli was crisp because you left it in the machine for too long. It is usually 5 seconds once you have pressed it, then flip the rotli and let it roast for 15 seconds and then flip again and gently close the top platter. The rotli will puff up and lift the top platter by itself.

Is your kitchen floor vinyl or laminate? Very beautiful.
Is it easy to remove stains from floor...Indian curry if falls...like hurdur/ haldi ( tumeric)...etc..
I am looking to do a similar kitchen soon.
