Are there any fans of Lucky Luke watching this video? Did you continue to collect and read Lucky Luke even after Morris passed away?

Thank you very much for your video. You really shared your enthusiasm for these 2 stories that I want to look for them immediately. I love when true fans gets the opportunity to continue the legacy of iconic characters. For example Tome & Janry for Spirou & Fantasio. Don Rosa for Donald & Uncle Scrooge. And now Matthieu Bonhomme for Lucky Luke. I think that the love for the character is the secret ingredient to successfully continue the legacy and to expand the continuity of these characters into pop culture. Again thank you so much for your video, your passion and love for sharing these amazing stories.I have Follow up question for you: What are your next readings? I just finished reading the first 6 stories from Blueberry (Damn they are so good!) And now for the Halloween spirit I'm reading & laughing out loud with The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Ominous Omnibus.

@@luisricardoguerrerorodrigu1968 We think the same way. True fans know what makes the character/story/series tick. Sometimes it´s a fine line between a corporate need to squeeze all money out of classics or true desire to keep them alive and interesting. These two albums are a home run though. Bringing realism to Lucky Luke might seems like an obvious thing - but only after someone has already done it.
Jean Girauds art keeps getting better in Blueberry as you progress. Some albums have so much detail in each panel that it´s hard to imagine how they ever got them made.
I have a very mixed pile of unread comics: Usagi Yojimbo, Monstress, Sillage, Smurfs, The Old Guard, Thorgal etc. Just finished some new Spirou albums and need to get more of them!

I've been getting into Lucky Luke and more stuff from Cinebook. Have you read any Bluecoats albums? If so, are they also worth a read? Thanks.

Lucky Luke is timeless. Cinebook has most of them translated too I believe? I prefer the ones written by Rene Goscinny. They are also very good place to get into series in general. I will do a video of Lucky Luke too.
I own only one Bluecoats-album. It is OK but didn’t draw me in. But I feel it’s one of those running gag story types where you have to read more than one story to start getting into the characters. A bit like Dungeon-albums I showed in my 1st Anniversary video(and it turned out to be a fun read).

@@analogcomics Yes, Cinebook has a ton of Lucky Luke stuff published. I was initially interested in the Lucky Luke stuff because of Rene Goscinny. My local comic shop had some Dungeon books for $3 each so I grabbed them. New to Trondheim stuff.

They do! Check Cinebook website. They publish European comics in english. They have these two books on their site under the category "Lucky Luke by...". The rest of their Lucky Lukes are in the "Lucky Luke" category. So they have two separate categories for Lucky Luke.
