So Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.48 is here!
the fifth content update of 2024 arrives as probably the biggest and best yet featuring 5 amazing cars, 4 new events, 5 new engine swaps and a heap of changes.
So for the next video of Gran Turismo 7 I'm bringing you the news of the official reveal date for GT7 update 1.49 which is set to be revealed July 6th 2024 during the world series finals in Montreal, Canada!

It is so annoyingly true though
The VGTs are so prominent because it cost PD nothing other than developer cycles. I'm tired of them too we already have too many fake cars in the game. Hopefully we'll see some highly requested favorites from the previous games we all miss.

- a few new World Circuits Events
- Updated Sophy on more tracks
- A few new quality of life changes

...you might be the only person that's mad about free updates. Lol. Literally upset that there's no microtransactions..but pretending you're upset by years of free additions to the game, because you're embarrassed that you can't buy individual cars at $10 each.

@@oxypillix People aren't upset at that, people are upset that this still isn't like the GT games that came before it. If you love online racing, this game is 1000% for you. If you're someone that grew up with GT 1-4 you just want simulation mode/driving missions/more endurance races all of that stuff, then this game feels lacking. Idgaf about VGTs or Scapes. I just want an old school GT game.
@@PacoRobbins I agree with ya, on the single player side of things. The whole "requires an internet connection to play by yourself" thing is my first and biggest criticism of GT7. I've been playing GT since 2, and don't have a big problem with the amount of content in the single player. I don't like the weird tire wear and fuel modifiers, instead of actual endurance races, though. If you ask me, that's completely bizarre..kinda makes some sense in the online context, but in the single player..I find it to be rather nonsensical. I just don't see the point in criticizing the free content drops..as if, that's the heart of the issue or something. I very much appreciate those updates, but can easily understand people's frustration with the other aspects you've mentioned. They should certainly be addressed in their own way, but I don't think it's productive to confuse those things with anything that isn't those specific issues. I guess, that's all I was trying to get at, with my comment.
This should be a major update considering its broadcasted at a live event,
A new track is pretty much guranteed now,
5-6 new cars
And hopefully pd can finally bring ferrari 812 superfast and BMW m5 e60 from the datamine finally to gt7, my most wanted cars from that list.

New endurance races maybe we see,
But this gets me excited for sure.

Since Volvo was added, maybe Lotus will be back too? (both owned by chinese company, Geely)

After months of honestly being pretty bored with Gran Turismo recently, Ive found myself having fun with it again. I’m looking forward to this.
Sorry for being curious, what made it fun again? I´ve only had the game for 7 weeks so i´m not bored yet.

Every time I forget that a month has gone by until I see a GT7 update.
We need new grinding races or endurance races with more pay outs!! Make it 1 hour long or more I don't care but with a good moneybag.
Also would be cool to have a Clean Race Bonus "lost" notification while you racing in case you want to start over and win the bonus.
The actual news is: There's no update for June.
Do Not get hyped guys, you know how many times they've let us down before, let's not make ourselves stupid, continue with your day, forget about the update, and check it when the time comes, hyping it up only turns into disappointment if it's not something you wanted, Please guys think about this, Do not put high hopes and don't be disappointed. I've been tired of being made a fool out of myself by Polyphony and even other games. Consider not falling for the hype again, most big brands for games do this nowadays. i hope whoever reads this understands what i'm trying to say...

Let us down, when was that? They're obviously doing the best they can which is why we receive high quality FREE content which in other games a dlc with cars of that quality would be atleast 5 bucks, if you don't like the rate of their work Maybe go work for them to speed up the process.
More OGs from GT2, whether it be tracks or cars. Watched an "All left behind from GT2" and man, there were some true gems left behind ❤

I’d love next update to add some gt3 cars, like the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3, also that mustang GTD, Ferrari 296 GT3 etc…
All I ask for is;
Pikes peak, Silverstone and Cote D’Azur tracks and Metro 6R4, Escort Mexico, RS200, Vauxhall Firenze ‘Baby Bertha’ and Zackspeed Capri.

I am in my 70's and play the races on hard level. I design my own car liveries as well. I may know nothing, but having to start last in every race is ludicrous, therefore I want qualifying for all the longer races. I know you can make your own races, but the payouts are peanuts. Peas to all.
I would pay significantly for a good update with a few tracks and around a dozen cars. Please god have some up to date GT3 cars in this update
What would be game changer is some actual decent racing and not the 30+sec catch-up races we currently get, grid starts and Sophie Ai would be great.
A mind blowing update would be 10x cars, Pikes Peak + another track n 20 engine swaps, n maybe an icon on any new paints that get added too, oh n if possible add the Uesd Wheel shop back please 🙏 😂💚
PSVR2 HUD Update, gokart tracks (from GT5/6), and Drift Tracks/cars, and SOPHY ON ALL TRACKS (mainly on Nordschleife).
I rather have a major update to include audio from the pit crew advising the driver of upcoming conditions and other information like real world drivers get.
I want a road version of the P1 🙏

I would love to see an Acura TL 4G and Legend be put in. Would also love to see some odd ball cars like the Cobalt SS. Maybe one of the old guys like the FTO?
That or a RLX. I have a TL as well but the RLX is such a sleeper.

Was hoping they’d add Circuit Gilles Villeneuve around the time that F1 was racing there, but I could see why they’d want to wait until their event in Montreal. If this is indeed going to be a large update, let’s hope 🤞 there are finally longer, high-paying races coming too. I’m past getting my hopes up for that at this point, but let’s hope they do the unthinkable and surprise us (probably not).
Give me more options for in game HUD especially being able to add a rear view mirror on the hood cam 😅

I just fixed my game from crashing every time I tried to play it. Im glad they're still bringing more content to it. Really enjoying my time with it.
I mind more paints in the livery editor like chromes, shift and fluorescent paints in the next update. Excellent videos.
I love it if the big reveal at their prestigious live event is something like a Toyota Carina 1.6 e being added to the game.
I miss the old gran turismo. Ordinary cars tuned into a racecar one piece at a time

We need new super cars, more new road cars. McLarens such as the 600lt or 720s, Ferraris such as the 812 or Lamborghinis such as the aventador s or svj or huracan technica. Convertible cars would also be cool like Porsche 992 turbo s convertible or mclaren 570s spider. This will bring so much more play time for people. Like this comment if you agree?
Will it fix the constant freezing issues that only happen in GT7 and none of my other games? If not, they can keep their update.

Ok so this is what im thinking since this is the first time PD is going to broadcast the update....
One track ( maybe two: Motegi and Montreal)
The Ferrari hypercar that JUST won LeMans again along with some other cars that raced in LeMans in either this year or last.
A more race version of that Genesis VGT.
Some new track challenges with Sophy challenges as well.
Here is what I WANT:
All the tracks that are missing from GT4 like El Capitan etc...
An update offline campaign mode with new championship events that are 10 races long and your points vary from your finishing position and if you win the championship, you get the surprise CAR ROULETTE and not a roulette of one or two cars and then money and car parts. Money would be ok if you get a 1.5 million pay out.
B-SPEC mode which I LOVED in GT4.
Pescarolo Judd and Courage, BMW V12, Pagani Huayra R.
More GT3 cars. Ford Mustang GTD and I am STILL pitching for the OG ENDURANCE track SS ROUTE 11!!
I would like a proper randomized roulette system with useable six star gifts that exceed the value of all other gifts, a fix for slight head movement leaving VR area on turns causing the screen to disappear on some cars, more collector levels, a light yellow 1977 Ford LTD with 460 engine and working headlight covers, drag track, automated drivers for tuning competition, tailgating area to show off favorite car/stats and socialize, local event calendars, real world rewards, VR wind simulator, VR helmet with improved display in visor and spatial sound/pit comm, better pit area entrance identification, VR chair rocker, a boat and some pistachios. That's about it.
What I’d love is a companion app for this game. An updated functioning app.

GT8 would logically be PD's main (resources) focus now? I don't know if there are any historical trends that may 'predict' which year GT8 will be announced, but regarding the upcoming July 6 announcement in Canada I am excited about the mystery of the GT7 update but personally think that it won't be bigger than last years spec 2 update but I hope I am wrong!
Either something special in the update or they’re simply using it increase the viewers for the World Series.
So, since this will be a reveal for update 1.49, I wonder what day the update will be launched.
Hopefully this update will include the Nissan R390GT1 or maybe Midfield Raceway or Red Rock Valley.
My possible guesses:
1. Genesis X Vision Gran Turismo race version revealed and added for early access, next VGT teased.
2. 3 Vision Gran Turismo Trophy events added.
3. Scapes based on Montreal or Pikes Peak
4. More Engine Swaps for select cars.
5. Revision of Sport Mode in regards to Clean Racing judgement (punishments for pressuring drivers off-road?)
6. New layouts for Catalunya, Road Atlanta, and Interlagos.
Lets use reverse psychology.

Montreal has a Formula E circuit and the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit. If there's a track and Montreal in the same sentence, those are the two possibilities.

According to GTPlanet on there article they stated they don’t believe any track is coming so I’m not getting my hopes up at all.
Nothing is confirmed of that yet, its not listed on gtplanet either.

Honestly some period correct wheel options and more brands would make my year.
World Series 2024 is sponsored by some car brands that available in game, so I think there are no new car brands enter the game in the time of competition.
And please make some options to skip or bypass both Super Formula races and Red Bull races in the cafe, since they are really impossible for me to win.
I feel a Big Legendary Car is coming Like the Bentley Speed 8 or the Nissan R390 Race Car. or the Toyota 7.
