With only 2 animals and that much area with that much dense grass. It will take them months to see any real impact on it. If you want faster results, you'll need far more goats and sheep than 2. But since you have 2, for better results, pen them in to a smaller area of the grass. That will lead to them grazing heavily in that section, and thus you'll see results quicker.

Well i can say as someone who has done sheep herding for a year that you'd need more then two animals to get a big lawn like that grazed xD sheep and goats are also herd animals so they wont do much on they're own they do a lot more in larger groups of 15 to 20, then they could graze a 100 by 100 meter field in one day or so but they do take around one to two hours to rest because they need to re chew the grass a lot.... All and all maybe a cheap lawn mower that barely works and breaks down a few times could be faster.

I had a pet goat in highschool for the exact same reason. He wasn't able to eat all the full sized plants but after winter he was completely able to keep up with the new plants.
Also if that is the RAV4 with the CVT tranny, they require a full fluid change every 30k, with filters and screen changes. If you did not, or the previous owner did not do that...that is why it is slipping. Mine did the same, after I realized it was what was causing it...I did a change. AND it has worked good since pending periodic changes.

One day I stopped counting and a baby goat was left out overnight. It went in or got chased into a pond, then turtles ate it alive over night from the belly up. We got back the next morning to find it screaming and had to put it down.
You need like 7 more goats, a flock of chickens, and an electric fence. A better way to deal with the lawn is to mow everything down to almost dirt, and then right before a rainstorm, spread 300 pounds of ladino clover over the whole area. Clover is shorter, has deeper roots (that makes it more drought resistant than grass), and is good for the local bee and butterfly population. It's also evergreen. You do have to water it a bit to get it started, but then It'll start spreading and choking out other weeds. You can get taller clovers, but those grow up to 3ft high. Ladino clover has a max height of about 1 and a half feet if it's undisturbed for the entire year. Look up "field of clover" for nice pictures of it. I covered my lawn and it's beautiful! during the drought last year, all the clover turned red. But it didn't die! it's gree n again this year!
