Just sold my duster 4x4 a week ago after driving it for 1.8 Lakh kilometres for last 7 years. A great enthusiast's car with good stability and top notch driving pleasure.
I hope Duster makes a comeback as is. I don’t want them to change anything in this car. We are so blinded, that we talk about features in the car, more than the ride and practicality. This car is simple, deliveries what it has to do and no nonsense of features and other arbitrary things. I see people complaining about the way the infotainment controls are placed behind the steering, boss you can control the whole system without taking your eyes of the road, that’s called muscle memory and user experience. Look at that button of the heated seat placed near the seat, again not mixed with all other buttons of centre console, this defines that there is great design team in Dacia where we are not appreciating them. All we want is touch screen and all buttons placed in it with clean dashboard. We killed this car in India. I really want this car to comeback just like it was and make an impact. A duster fan forever ! I request Dacia or Renault to introduce the same car in Canada.
Duster is actually an amazing car. I have rxl diesel model since 2013. The music system has stopped working..so has the rear right hand side windows😂. But man i am still in love with it. It has character. The ride quality is comparable to cars worth north of 30lakhs. I have driven it from Ahmedabad to goa, Pune to vizag in a day but the car threw no surprises. Recently did Guwahati to Tawang and came back so proud of the car. The engine is a gem, suspensions top class. Features none but i dnt care anymore. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Those music controls located in the steering column have tremendous value. You can use them to control the audio settings independent of the steering position, and I have found it personally very convenient. So quirky but useful ! Would love to see the car with 156ps 1.3 engine back albeit with ESP and at least 6 airbags.

Those who have driven a duster would understand what great ride quality actually means. The Duster in C-SUV segement and the Linea offered unmatched ride quality with amazing handling. Sad to see good cars aren't meant for India.
eagerly waiting for the new duster and it's 7 seat config., i think by the time renault will get this, it will be good time for me to upgrade from kiger to duster, people say kiger is not good, yes it's not excellent but overall it is just so good for the money, been 2 years, each family member is happy with it! and thankfully my service centre is also good😅

I'm a duster owner 2017 4x4 110PS.. I wud say it's a very simple yet rugged car and surprisingly fuel efficient.. Too much tech is just an eyewash because most of the things you don't use in day to day use.. I am from 🇮🇳 India n I can narrate a episode to support my stand for this car.. Self n group of friends went to Leh ,Laddak in India by road.. terrain is rugged and weather in extremes of temperatures.. the other 2 cars of popular companies loaded to their gills with features n sensors 4x4 broke down in between due to various reasons.. though we all managed to complete the trip back I learnt a valuable lesson.. The lesser the Jing bang the better it is.. It's 2023 n this car gives solid performance.. one service a yr or 10000kms @ Rs 7k-8k Feel sad that they stopped producing diesel n I have to sell my precious in another 4 yrs due to the diesel embargo.. If I had a chance wud keep this marvel for life❤
Shame on Renault because this car had a serious future like Creta. I have a 2016 110ps model and I just love this car but the company should have launched atleast 2 more generations/facelifts to stay strong in the game. I hope Duster gets a good facelift or they launch a new generation which shud be very different from the old one.
Nice individual headlights and Drls 🔥, (not everyone likes connecting lights😂) and I feel this car doesn't require a change in body shape, it should keep looking like a duster❤ that's best. After all you never fix something that is not broken. That's just my point of view No Offence pls. I was waiting for a duster update since so long. This is ONE of the first compact SUVs of India, I praise duster for that.
New duster is great, sadly I've heard it's coming in India in 2025. They'll probably launch a facelift/update or something of this new version in 2025 and they'll directly release that only in India

Honestly the exterior design of original dacia duster is awsome. This design shown in this video is disapointing. Am big fan of front big bold renault logo. Hope they retain it. In fact renault kiger front exterior design is superb. I wish they use front design for duster or original by dacia
Renault is not planning to get this gen 2 duster to India. Instead they are working on the gen 3 duster, which may be launched in 2025. Such a big missed opportunity by Renault India for not bringing the gen2 to India. The company’s prospects would have been so different if they had kept the Duster brand updated.

i am using duster from past 7.5 years it has same problem which i face in my duster. driver side leg problem just is very much on long drives and @ times you would be facing leg space issue in back seat
