It actually turned out a lot better than I thought it would when Jimmy bought it. Congratulations to all involved, and I hope to see it in person one day.
Jimmy you're a genius. This thing spent almost 40 years in the desert, and nobody wanted it. Now a bunch of keyboard commandos hiding behind their avatars criticize you for taking a risk and preserving history. This nation was built by people with guts that took risk and worked hard. Ignore the losers. Viva la Maquina!
Hi Jimmy. This is Randy in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Words cannot describe how wonderful the Elvis jet turned out. It is a masterpiece! Love your channel. Keep up the good work brother. The Lord really has His hands on you. God bless.🙏🙏🙏
Hey, I live in Chatty as well!! I couldn’t agree more! Jimmy has done an amazing job on the Elvis Jetstar. Brings back memories I flew the jetstar 731 back in the begining of my career. It’s amazing to watch from the phone call he received that the other bidder dropped and he won the bid at auction to this.
Well done Jimmy. Great job, I thought he had dug a big hole when he bought this at auction. Just proves, with passion and great vision anything is possible.
@@garethconnett7672 You haven't watched Jimmy's video. This is still a work in progress. The interior isn't done because they didn't have time. He had a couple professional detailers come in an clean the interior the best they could. They said there were a few stains they had trouble getting out. His goal is to keep the original interior, but he's going to make it more functional. Air conditioning is high on the list. The cockpit still needs a lot of work. They're going to reupholster the seats and they still need to finish installing all of the controls from the chassis. They basically just had time to hook up the bare minimum before they left. Stuff like the switch for the jakes was absent. I'd like to think one of the longer term goals would be to have a functioning lavatory and kitchen. That'd eliminate the need to bring a second RV along for 1 or 2 day trips.
Jimmy stopped by Graceland on his way to Oshkosh and they fired the girl who let him into the parking lot, so let Graceland know how you feel about that.
Sounds like the people running Graceland aren't very "Rock And Roll" because I'm pretty sure Elvis would have loved something like this back in the day.
Better than i imagined. Maybe have some audio/video pieces that can play on loop Elvis tv, and music inside and out to make a more complete experience. Good job
can't believe how great looking it is. The "body panels" of the RV chassis are amazingly well done. Great job. Hope you get to the Northeast sometime. I'm originally from St Pete, graduate of USF
Jimmy has the heart and soul to make it memorable!! I am so happy that he went through with this crazy project that most people would have not done so Thank you Jimmy!!
Awesome job and great to see this come to fruition. I think you'll get the last laugh having a great fun time with this, regardless of if some crazy Elvis collector buys it off your not.
It's sad to see it without wings and tail, but Jimmy had nothing to do with it getting to that state, and saved what he could in the best way he could take it to as many people as possible. Wonderful and tastefully done.
Jimmy, you really knocked it out of the park. I’ve been following this since the auction and that’s just amazing follow-through brother. Great job good example for your kids.
Congrats Jimmy and Crew! I really enjoyed the build and driving videos of the Elvis Jet! It turned out fantastic!!! I hope you can bring it to Arizona someday...I'm sure the Pima Air Museum would love to have you visit! 😁👍
Great looking build. As a commercial truck driver, I've got to ask how change out those drive tires or roadside change outs in the event of a blowout? We've survived a number of blowouts with a low deck step trailer, which is always an event and generally happens at night.
This has been a labour of (burning love ) and looks awesome jimmy ,grizzly has been working on this As well and deserves a mention plus all the other guys 🇬🇧👍🔧❤ dave
Hey Jimmy, I went to Oshkosh on Monday and saw you, but unfortunately, I was too shy to speak directly with you. I saw Elvis jet RV and noticed you were busy. I had to leave the next day to return to Houston for work. I felt that coming to say hello might have been awkward 😬. Maybe next time, I will feel more confident to disturb you, haha.
Lisa Marie 111, With that name they can't refuse you the photo op with the other jets in Memphis. May even shame them into refurbishing them to tour worthy condition too.
Ya fooled me Jimmy (In a good way)! Been watching since before you got the “first” phone confirmation while driving down the road. You stuck with it man through thick and thin. I guess you can add “Visionary” to your resume with no problem from anyone. Name for the Jet… it’s already on it for the whole world to see in giant letters and a cool graphic. And with a deep, low and beautiful voice I can only say: “ Thank yuh, thank yuh very much”. (and best regards)
@@wstlndiesel: Actually he flew on it several times when being on Top Secret missions for the CIA. I know this because I was his handler back then (and was instrumental in arranging his fake death). Jimmy is a SCAMMER‼️ Elvis NEVER flew on the jet‼️ Its all a scam to promote his TH-cam Channel. There are no pics or flight log showing Elvis as a passenger.
Elvis Presley was an impressive 6 feet tall and weighed 170 pounds at the peak of his career. He wore size 11D shoes. Born on January 8, his zodiac sign was Capricorn. He had blue eyes and naturally light blondish brown hair that he dyed black.
It's kind of ironic that you say give a list of why it will never fly again while at Oskosh, a large crowd of people that will say "hold my beer" and then make it fly again.
He’s a good enough businessman not to tell, but I did the math on the number of tags made and how much they’re selling for. If I remember correctly if he sold every tag made he would nearly double the money he spent on the Jetstar originally. He says in the video he’s sold half the tags so far so I would guess the original purchase price is just about covered, though not the RV build. I think he always planned for the tags to cover the whole project plus a little extra if they all sell. I figured out at the beginning that was his plan from the get go. He’s both a good businessman and a good showman so he plays up how crazy it is what he’s doing as if it’s all spontaneous, but folks forget he made his fortune as an entrepreneur. He had a complete plan to not only break even but make a profit plus steady income off the whole thing before he ever spent 230k plus on the Elvis Jet. :)
I guess if you’re a Vernon Presley fan, then this is your plane. Elvis never stepped foot on this plane, Vernon was involved in buying it but the deal went bad. I would love to see documents of Elvis ever doing interior work. This was just a catch and release buy as to why you will never find photos of Elvis with this plane. Pricilla doesn’t have a clue because she doesn’t. She was just there at the auction for exposure and nothing more.
To be absolutely honest…. Elvis would’ve loved this RV no doubt as it’s cool. Just work on finding proof before you claim things that never happened. All you have is his name on a title. You were better off spending that money on a car that Elvis was actually inside of, with pictures to prove. So please stop trying to sell Elvis’ name for your benefit.

It should have a real low drag coefficient, especially for a motorhome!
Where at Osh Kosh is it? What booth number? We have been looking.
