I loved how you let it build without him knowing anything, getting in thinking about what it would be like, then telling him, perfect timing!!!!! Awesome surprise!!!

That was so far BEYOND I don't even have words! Thank you Jimmy for showing Grizzly yet more of the respect and love he greatly deserves! Love to take the two of you out to lunch sometime!
What an amazing story of survival because Larry just didn't give up. He just kept trying stuff until he found out the way to land safely. Thank you for your generosity to Grizzly. I am sure that made his year! God bless you Larry!
I was smiling with him. My Dad did things like that to me almost every time he took me flying. Always an enjoyment. What a guy you are, jimmy, to let grizz have that flight.
This genuinely made my day, it makes me even happier that it specifically was Grizzly that got to experience this. He deserves all the love he can get!
You got him hooked now Jimmy that was a noble noble thing to do for the man that puts the effort into your products Jimmy And a admirable effort on the pilots side of it👏 Jimmy congratulations to your success If you work hard enough you can have this kind of success people 💯✊🇺🇸
Wow watching this video really made my day! Thank you Larry for that opportunity and thanks Jimmy, really put a smile on my face seeing Grizzly so excited and lost for words he's an awesome guy and definitely a huge part of the channel. Thank you both for everything that you guys do!
Thank you for sharing Larry's story. I'm proud to call him a friend, and to Grizzly, I got a ride recently, I had the same experience. After a few rolls...I was done.
Larry is a legend! What an awesome and lovely guy! And I know it seems maybe a strange word to use to describe grizzly, but he was just flippin cute., from a grizzly to a teddy. What an incredible experience. Jimmy, you rock!
Really cool to see someone you don’t really know other than these videos I watch every week, but the emotion and reaction Grizzly had when you told him he was going for ride was really cool to see! 😊
Grizzley you were too cool and Jimmy, it was great that you gave the ride to Grizzley. I really enjoy watching your somewhat out-ot-the-ordinary videos but, this one showed your generosity too. Good job.
Jimmy and Grizzly were two of the nicest guys that I met at Airventure. Glad that you got to hop a ride there Griz. You already surpassed my dream of a ride in anything there. Let alone a warbird. Excellent boys....carry on!
That had to be a blast for Grizzly. My all-time favorite aircraft is the Beech Staggerwing. My best friends chipped in and got me a flight in one during our EAA Chapter 4 work at College Park MD. airshow. It was a total surprise to me. I had been drooling over the one at the show all day. My attention span was minute the whole day. The owner came up to me at the chapter booth and said to me "Are you ready go flying?" I said to him that I could not afford the flight. He just looked at me and said my buddies had paid for the fuel and to get my butt over to the plane so we could hit the sky. Never forgot that experience and how selfless my friends were that day. Sadly, only two of us are left out of our crazy foursome. We were inseparable. I hope Grizzly remembers this day for the rest of his life. Moments like this are priceless. What a great opportunity larry presented him with. Great guy!
I've had the pleasure of flying two Staggerwings with two of my friends who were the owners. Both of them are gone now but the memories are just like yesterday. Those are my favorite airplanes.
@@thomashudgins996 I'm glad you enjoyed it. They are fabulous airplanes. If you ever get a chance you should visit the Beech Staggering Museum in Tullahoma, TN. Staggerwing serial #1 is there and so is the Travel Air Mystery Ship which started it all. Many other Staggerwings on display there with much memorabilia from the Beech factory.
I will also say Wow. I would love to just site with Larry and talk with him. Thank you for taking Grizzly up for a flight. That had to be a lot of fun.
That was great that you lt Grizzley fly. He has worked very hard on all your planes. It is good to see him have a good time. You are a good man, Jimmy.
Yes ! Thank You Larry! Grizzly has watched Jimmy fly and always stayed on the ground. Now his reward is from Larry and I know Jimmy had something to do with this once in a lifetime ride in a combat jet. Well deserved Grizzly, and thanks for keeping Jimmy safe by your active due diligence, engineering expertise, applied to Jimmy's questionably acquired aircraft collection.
Wow weee that was straight awesome. The look on Grizzley's face was priceless and Jimmy your one class at my friend. Plus getting to meet and hear Larry's adventures was the icing on the cake.
Well done Grizz, that was darned awesome, cheers Larry for such a great gesture taking Grizzly for a once in a lifetime flight. And hearing your story about your exceptional landing experience was excellent...
That was awesome. It's nice to have people who appreciate the accomplishments of others. Y'all do things that most of us can only dream about, and I definitely appreciate Y'all making me feel like I'm a part of Jimmy's world. And Grizzly, I was grinning right a long with you, buddy, like a kid in a candy store. Happy trails, guys.
You might as well be flying with Bob Hoover the OG test pilots he's one of the last not afraid to let the plane do what it needs to do not afraid to get a few bumps and scrapes. thank you Grizzy and Larry for your work and a lovely surprise from Jimmy on you. After a few flights you'll get your jet legs and..don't eat before flying is my top tip!!
Grizzly's first ride in a jet at Reno. A fantastic gift Jimmy and the L-39 pilot. My first ride was in a Piper Cub, J3. I was 7, a birthday gift from Dad. I was hooked on flying after that. Dad was a WWll pilot, and got the DFC. My first passenger after getting my PPL, my Dad.
My first plane after getting my PPL was a C-152. After that, I bought a Bellanca Super Viking. I had to upgrade my pilot skills. If you don't know, it was a 300HP , 4-passenger, retractable. I had to get my high-performance rating. That was fun.
A C-152 story. My girlfriend and I went to Vegas in the plane, fun trip. Going there was cool, I had a tailwind. Coming back was different, headwind. Cars on I-15 were passing us! Honey, I need a faster plane. So, the Bellanca Super Viking. Jimmy, you like speed, I agree. The Bellanca did 170 Knts at cruise, I was happy with that. That's my story. I hope you enjoy.
That was Awesome!!! Wow, it's amazing how Larry was able to keep his plane flying with that tail being that destroyed. Enjoyed seeing Grizzly get recognized and having a blast up there.

Congrats on the ride Grizzly! I've been a maintainer almost 35 years and have never gotten a ride like that. Even as a pilot! Nice job on the Elvis jet too!
Wow...first time in a fighter and he got to take the controls for a roll!!!! I'm jealous! I guess that tells you how much he deserves. The look on his face when he found out he was going up in that thing was priceless.
