Why is house price higher in Chapel Hill than other areas of the triangle?
Hi! Lots of different factors, but overall boils down to supply and demand. Chapel Hill is small, so there isn't much supply in general. Many residents work at the university or its hospital and they want housing close by! There are also a lot of unique estates with more acreage in Chapel Hill. One question is there a Walmart or a sam's club there??
Great questions! The closest Walmart and Sams Club are right over the Chapel Hill Durham Line- so not a bad drive at all! Chapel Hill is really small, so there will be a lot of crossing into Durham, but it isn't a long drive at all. They feel like sister communities when it comes to shopping!
Does the triangle feel southern or like Northern transplant
I think it feels southern! The Triangle has a lot of folks from all over but I think it still has a distinct southern feel to it!
