The FW1 removes the Deep Water Wash Option from the Normal Cycle & defaults to Auto-Sense for the Cycle. The FW2 changes the Main Wash Fill & Scrub Sequence. The FW3 changes how you start up each Cycle, as you turn the Cycle Knob or push the Start/Pause Button to wake the Machine, then you push the Start/Pause Button again to start the Cycle. Alongside, the FW3 was the last Revision for that Machine before it got upgraded to the MVW5035MW.
