The problem with alot of people they think singing high notes makes you a good vocalist which is obviously not true. Control, tone, color , emotion, singing to interpret the song to the listener is very important. Its obvious that red velvet has one of best harmonized vocals in kpop. People don't recognize how good this group is when comes to singing. Most talented and versatile group in kpop. I've listened to wendy's ost man and I'm telling shes by far one of best vocalist right now. 💗💛💚💜💙

When I started following SNSD they really set my standard high so it's hard to stan other groups but when I heard wendy part in happiness I'm really surprised after that I found out that they're from same company so I started following red velvet. SNSD and Red Velvet really set my standard high. Now I'm lookig forward for their hoobaes aespa.

I know that SNSD have some talented vocal line especially Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany and Seohyun but overall the group doesn't really harmonize that well because there are some members who are extremely good at singing and some of them are not. Red Velvet on the other hand, they harmonize well because everyone is good at singing. Each member has their own colour yet they're able to blend in with each other. So yeah, RV for me.
@@aune6770 SNSD is known for their harmonization. It's their trademark. One of the reasons why I like RV is when they sing the chorus together it reminded me of how SNSD, 9 voices blending perfectly together creating one voice distinct to their own group.

I wouldn’t say “weak” I’d say it sounds less powerful or a little bit less lively compare to the other members, but she could rock as a lead vocalist in another kpop group.

If I'm not mistaken in kpop idols yeri and haechan has the same vocal type and sounds I noticed that ...but Haechan improved a lot bcoz he practice his skills; yeri is more on dancing but if only persue her technique she would be great as Haechan she can sing high notes too,but it's too late yeri just more only on low register if she sing high note the thing she do was she's just add the volume that's why sometimes she cant sing longer enough ,reason too why she love Melo music bcoz it's suits her vocal nor her stamina.... singing and singing keep you improving esp vocalization.

I’ve been into kpop for more than 8 years and Red Velvet is the only group that I really stan. The reason is because I used to think that kpop=dance, fun and now I think kpop=talent, and all because I got to know Red Velvet. I feel really lucky for existing at the same time as RV. They are pretty, can sing, can dance, can act, are humble and I can see their passion for singing (always posting songs and getting better and better). I became a reveluv in 2016 because I didn’t really liked their music before, it was too diverse, now I’m happy that I gave myself the chance to learn more about them and broad the type of music that I like.
They may not be so overproduced like BP, but they hold their own. RV are a highly unique group. Their songs are very eclectic. Wendy & Seulgi really set the bar high for Kpop artists.

I think Yeri and Irene’s “problem” (using the word very loosely) is that they tend to lose confidence when they’re just singing by themselves without their group mates backing them up or a dance routine to focus on. They just need more practice to be able to break outta their shells and they’ll be much better! You can tell by their body language that they tend to shy away when they’re up to sing acoustic or acapella. Once they have more confidence, they’ll be unstoppable! It doesn’t help that they probably compare themselves to their groupmates withJoy being a great vocalist, Seulgi always being ranked in the top 3 of this generation’s girl groups vocally (depending on where people rank Jihyo of Twice) and Wendy who’s one of the best female vocalists in the global market, not just in Kpop! It’s hard to realize how good you actually are when you’re next to such other talented artists. But we love all of them equally! 💗💛💙💚💜
