I sold a NOS cylinder for one a while back. Had the T-port exhaust which I found very interesting. Dumps compression for starting but doesn’t affect performance.
My Dad bought a ProMac 1000 new in 1978. I used that saw thru my teens to buck Firewood to sell. He died in 2009 and I kept it for a keepsake and ran it on big stuff once in a while. I had a dirt bag break into my shed and stole it. Really upset it was gone as it was sentimental. Your video made me smile. That sounds brought back some good memories.
Nice saw! Sure wish that wood was on my sawmill instead of in a woodstove; that looked like it had beautiful figure... and the ol saw does too! Thanks for the video and the time taken to share with us!
I actually absolutely love the slightly sped up video… you “chipmunk in’” it in the audio is hilarious!!! I’d love to find an old P-100!!! ProPoxy20 that extra carb circuit closed and get her screaming brother!!!!
My guess was an even 7hp. I guess I was a little pessimistic compared with the other guys but really we all came reasonably close. Neat saw, thanks for sharing this one and thanks for all that you do.
Nice partner partner! Some pretty looking wood too!
That’s awesome, I found a P100 I might buy near me
Super nice old saw Joe!🤩🤩

I saw one for sale at a flea market in northern Michigan, for $40 i should have bought it. But at the time i didn't know much about saws

I was thinking the same thing. Even just for small ornamental items or furniture or something that’s some pretty cool wood.
Nice! I picked up a P70 a few weeks ago and have been running it a bit, these little toasters are great saws!
I love the p70.. They’re great runners
