What types of videos do you want to see more of?

What to look for on a card when submitting it to grading (flaws to avoid) I like the long form video of you inspecting cards for grading!

I’m trying to improve the percentage of “gradeable” cards I’m buying. Finding smaller sellers, staying away from the big consigners. Also, different card parallels tend to be cleaner. I have bad luck with holos, silver prizms and plain refractors. Much better luck with speckle and mini diamond refractors, hyper, cracked ice and velocity prizms. The “busier” the design, the better

Totally agree with this. Great point! It’s much easier to spot dimples and minor scratches on silvers vs other parallels.

Hey man, another good video. I appreciate your help in trying to get more gradeable cards. I ended up buying 30 cards and still only managed about 15 gradeable cards. Either the cards have a dimple on the face and solid edges and corners, or clean face and rough edges and corners. My goal was to get 40-50 cards to sub for October and ended up only getting 20. I'm gonna keep trying and appreciate the videos and advice!

Yeah 50% gradable isn’t too bad at all. As long as you can resell the other 50% fairly quickly you shouldn’t lose much at all on those

Thanks! Nice content. I’m trying to figure out my strategy for purchasing and grading

Yeah always good to put in the time to research to make sure you’re getting cards that actually make sense to grade margin-wise

Do you think psa will have a football special next month?

Great question. We’ll find out tomorrow. I hope they do another all sports special for even cheaper than this month.

Great content. Ive been grading a lot of baseball. The crazy thing about the Jackson Merrill 1st cards is that is not even him in the picture!! Jackson bats left handed. Not sure if this will make the card more valuable in the future if he becomes a superstar.

Oh wow I didn’t realize that. That’s crazy! Yeah we’ll see what happens long term. Thanks for watching and good luck with your grading!

What are you thoughts on buying low numbered and ssp cards online of top rcs and top vets? I kind of feel like the majority of these have been picked over already and the owner would of graded them if they had PSA 10 potential. I feel that many people just flog of these cards on ebay when they have surface damage etc that can't be clearly seen in photos. I feel your video with the bigger cards illustrates this.

Yeah it’s definitely getting harder to buy numbered/asp stuff that’s gradable. That’s one of the reasons historically that I primarily target cheaper cards to grade. However, I recommend keeping track of sellers that you like/don’t like and use that info to your advantage. A lot of people buy boxes and just sell all the hits, so it’s good to buy from people like that
