    Beautiful collection. It is so fun collecting pieces. Like you I look around for sales and hidden finds at estate sales.

      The estate sales are my jam!!!! LOL!!! I have found so many there but most of the time I am not the first one in line or the price sometimes is a bit high, but it is fun nonetheless. How Many pieces have you found at estate sales and which one was your favorite?

    I absolutely love your collection and as you always mention it’s a pleasure to cook with a lecreuset I have just recently purchased a 3.5 quart braiser based on your recommendations… can’t wait for it to be shipped… thanks again for all the videos ❤️ much love to you

    I love to see the color schemes that people gravitate towards. Yours is so vibrant! I would love to see the grill pan in action. I added a new "family member" to my cooking arsenal recently with the deep teal rice pot. It's been a wonderful piece to work with, and will get used several times a week.

    • @karenandmaya8329
      @karenandmaya8329  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The new "family member" :), Can you tell I really enjoy lots of color!!! Hahaha! I have been thinking about the rice pot, how do you like it and how does the rice come out for you?

    • @sarabartel4285
      @sarabartel4285 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've only used it a few times because I just got it, but the rice actually comes out perfectly if you follow their instructions. Fluffy, no sticking. I've also fallen in love with it to make spaghetti sauce, because of the deep shape and the ventilated stoneware insert. Finally no splatters over my cooktop! I also think it would be good for jam for the same reason. It's a surprisingly versatile piece, especially because it has such a small footprint.

    Hi Karen! Nice collection all laid out! I know I have enough for me for now… but the different colours make it hard to not want something new 😝 Your additions for this year… a paella pan? More planters?! I’m going to need to replace my non-stick oven pan and am between the cast iron option vs stainless steel (how hard to keep it shiny, vs how heavy it will be to handle?!).

    • @karenandmaya8329
      @karenandmaya8329  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Fiona, the paella pan seems like the most likely at the moment, because I have all the Dutch Ovens and braisers I would ever need at this point, lol. I also think more planters would be lovely for all around the house. I love the little pops of color on the mantles. Yes, the oven pan sounds like a great idea. I was looking at the cast iron one from lodge. It doesn't seem too heavy. Which one are you leaning to more?

    You have a lovely collection tho for me, it is hard to imagine that you use them all. Not saying that you lie, just for me I have 1 signature and it is already hard to find use for it, most of the time it stands here for decoration 😅 i wonder what you cook all the time

      Hi Xristina, welcome to the channel and thank you for watching! Check out our Tuesday videos where we cook and show which Le Creuset pots or pans we use on that day. I tend to make most things from homemade so we use our pots and pans everyday. :) Happy Cooking!

    Can you do a comparison video of the sauteuse and French oven? I currently have a 9qt oval and 6.75 round wide, so I want something on the smaller side. The sauteuse seems too similar to the round wide but the French oven seems too small?

    • @karenandmaya8329

      Hi there! I only have two Staub baking dishes, but I will say that at Williams Sonoma they have both brands on display I was able to compare the two and thought both were really great, I just like the Le Creuset Dutch Ovens and braisers a bit more. I hope that helps.

    Hello Karen, can you cook garlic/onion on LC’s enameled cast iron skillet? I sauté a lot of garlic/onion before adding meat/seafood so if that’s not possible then the skillet wouldn’t work for me.
