Visited Liverpool yesterday - fantastic place! It's beautiful, with a fascinating history and friendly people. It feels very different to other parts of the UK right now - Liverpool is embodied with a sense of vibrant optimism, fuel by the Capital of Culture 2008. The place is booming, it feels like one huge construction site, all while other places find themselves in urban depression. I highly recommend Liverpool to anyone visiting England - or anyone in England who hasn't visited yet!
I’ve been to Liverpool before. The city has giving me very nice memories to me.The harbour is beautiful. The people are kind.Even being as a Hong Honger, I prefer the harbour of Liverpool more than my hometown’s Victoria Harbour! Nice greetings from Hong Kong 🇭🇰!!!
I've been to most of the UNESCO heritage sites in Europe, but going to Liverpool and seeing where greatness came from almost nothing is one of the experiences that touched me on a such a accessibly everyday inspirationally human level. Strawberry Fields Forever!
I live in Liverpool Only town (daytime), the docks, Woolton, Hale, Hale wood, Broadgreen, childwall and some parts of Norris Green/Old Swan/ Knotty ash are the best and the safest. The rest is just bad. STAY AWAY FROM TOXTETH!
If you go to Liverpool, go on the National Trust tour of Lennon's and McCartney's homes. They are owned by the Nat. Trust and you can only see inside, if on their tour. We then got a Fab Cab's tour. Went inside Ringo's home and saw Harrison's Both tours were excellent. We had booked from Australia and that day just happened to be Beatles Day in Liverpool!
Read more personnel Beatle story's in Brian Linford's book 'Mardi Gras Club Liverpool' Brian lived in the next street to Ringo when the area was heavily bombed in October 1940, Brian was 4 and lived in 23 Kinmel St., Ringo was 4 months old and lived at 9 Madryn St. Both very lucky to survive. Where the British Invasion/Merseybeat started 1963/64: British groups inspired by American rock n' roll would soon start a musical revolution in the U.S. (e.g. The Beatles (of course), the Searchers, Gerry & the Pacemakers, the Hollies, and many more)

Vacationing the Isles on a Bus tour, We arrived in Liverpool 6pm Sunday, Unfortunately for us all of the historic attractions were closed.. Don't let the sun catch you crying............
Best city in Europe. Scousers are boss. No other city in Europe will have such a friendly, humble, charming and funny, of course, as Liverpool. Scousers not English.
I was there on July 16th 2011 and at 0:20 you can see the Tower Thistle hotel and St Nicholas's Parish Church. To the left you can just about make out the Crowne Plazza which is where I stayed. When I was there, the weather was in great contrast to that of 0:20 and was so awful, I came away early as my mood was ruined. If only the weather was good! I had a bad time in Liverpool and only if I enjoyed it. Next time I go, I hope the weather is good. I went for the nightlife.
the city of Liverpool is well be good city to go to becuase The Beatles are from there bt actulluy live ther ha ha ha the beatles got the scouse accent and is really tough to understand to know what there are speaking but the beartles there songs are the best part of the city of liverpool is to stop and say hello
the depresing rowhouses there actually looks a lot like inner city Baltimore and Philadelphia...i didnt know Britain had such depressing communities too..
There are no long haired lovers in Liverpool but there are switchblade carrying sparkle eyed swashbucklers, broken angels sitting at the bars in the haunted taverns, galloping street weasels, chattering bloodsuckers and fanciful gents with church keys in their pockets. I recommend with reservation - take heed.
You obviously have never been to Liverpool, unless you are talking about Liverpool in the USA, that one has those qualifucations not the UK Liverpool, did you know it's one of the safest towns to walk around after dark!
There are a lot of places that have vanished. Not only vanished but nobody ever remembers these places. Now in Liverpool [ the city of change] most people look perplexed and lost. Joe dont do it!

Glasgow was the second city of the British Empire.
So was Liverpool. The second city of the empire was banded around on a couple of cities
LOL the fake Beatles music
It looks undeveloped and eerie place compared to Birmingham.
