Love how Ryan talks openly about his earning. Not everyone in his similar position would do that

I love how it ends! the best marketing you can do for a book is to write another book

Best way to get something done is to do it twice.

Damn, I always wanted to ask Ryan about this. Got a signed copy of Obstacle is the Way on my desk. This is great.

Great interview. Noah's not afraid to ask knuckle to the bone questions and Ryan isn't afraid to answer them! I bought "Ego" & "Obstacle" on Audible - great books 👍

Noah, thanks for this interview. I’ve self published two books and of course I did the math first. This conversation was refreshing. Thanks

I am so glad that the almighty algorithm picked this up. I hope it will reach a bigger audience. There is so much valuable and transparent information about an industry that is not crystal clear. Great job Noah thanks! And THAT end 😂️

Well, since your mom asked...I subscribed (lol). This is the first of your videos that I've seen. It was a great topic and had fantastic information. Now I'm scrambling for time to watch the other videos!

I like where he was going with the Jay-Z thing but it was an unexpected twist. Jay-Z could have a hit song and he will make 10 cent off the mp3 download, $0.00000000124 on digital streams, but where he makes the money is performances, merch, appearances, etc. (not to mention he is the composer, and performer from a royalties perspective)
    Good interview.

Noah - quick question: what’s is the mic set up you are using here? Cheers

@@noahkagan - Agreed, love everything I've read from him. Also love what he's doing with Daily Stoic. This is an instance where the student has outmatched the master, I believe (his OG mentor Robert Greene).

Great interview thanks for sharing. It sounds like the publishing industry will be around for a while. Taking risk away from authors.

Great video with some very interesting insights. Constructive feedback: Better lighting on Ryan (fill-in) so that he's not so dark and the background isn't so washed out. Otherwise, audio is on point, what lav setup are you using there?

It's funny that Ryan mentions "trying to start your own publishing company" because isn't that what Tucker Max is doing with book in a box? Sort of?
