I think Karl's comments DO make sense, you just have to interpret what he means because he misremembers what he hears and reads. A couple examples: professional leg rubber = massage therapist outside of my body is larger than the inside = the therapist told Karl that he has an aura that extends outside his body ( still bullshit, but more sensible bullshit)
