Heeeeyyy Mike's back everyone🤠. Can't wait for more Kei Content. The previous videos I keep on repeat just to learn as much as possible. Love it👍🏾
Good reminder that I should look for a new water pump while I’m in Japan. 👍👍
always a good day when Mike uploads
Michael! I can't believe you didn't tell us to adjust our valves! It should be done every 15k or so and is pretty easy. 😊. Otherwise, great video, as usual
Great information, not only for your vehicle but any new vehicles thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Great tips Mike!!!! Hope you have a great weekend!

Right on 😊 I really appreciate it! Have a great weekend 👍
Interesting info. I seen a Subaru Kei Dump truck in King county a while back that looked cool, other than the seller not wanting to divulge some info.
Man - those last 3+ years went by so fast. 👍😎👍
Great vidjao Mike these little buggers are getting quite popular its awesome that you did a deep dive for this information. There at the beginning it was almost like mike festiva live from endor that forest planet in star wars
Nice tips, Mike. Thanks for the info!
Always interesting. Thanks Mike. 👍
Thanks for the info Mike. I wish NY would let these be registered for road use. I’d have one in a heartbeat.
Good info. Enjoy that truck Mike!
Excellent tips! Thank you for your insight!
I’m actually saving for a kei truck in Australia.
I’ve been watching your videos and they are really great to watch.
Your kei truck looks awesome!

Thanks again for a great video Mike! I bought a 91 Acty recently and have been following along as you and your bro kit out your Kei's. Hello from Ontario, CAN! KEEP THE MINI TRUCK VIDEOS COMIN'

Hey Mike, great tips for just about any older vehicle. Thanks for the upload dude..:)
Excellent! Been updating the maintenance on my 96 Suzuki Carry truck. Thanks for the updated routine maintenance and parts list. Keep up the good work.
Hey man I appreciate your update and love the content! I always like watching your builds and Carry projects can’t wait to see how the cabin is coming keep up the good work man! You inspire a lot of people ! I was happy to see your name dropped on a local mini truck group on FB ! So cool!

Great info Mike
Thanks Mike 😊👍
Thank you, enjoy all that you do.
Right on 👍 thanks man 😊
I've got a Kei Van, I've had it for 6 years, In that time I've replaced the tires, checked the coolant and brake fluid, it's a 13 year old Mitsubishi minicab miev EV Kei van. Previously I had an 84 550cc Honda acty van which we drove from Sydney nsw to Adelaide South Australia and back. This is a great video mike.
This was a fun video to pop up on my feed this morning. Thanks Mike!
I really need to pull the trigger on getting a sambar.
Thanks for checking out my new Kei truck video! I haven’t ever drove a Samber but I hear a lot of people really like them 😊👍
Thanks mike.
Cool Truck
Thanks Mike, felt like this one was made for me! 🍻🙌🤙
Thanks for checking out my new video Mark 😊👍
Another great video! We have a kei truck we use as a little firewood getter and they are super useful! I was wondering if maybe you could make a video or just a write up on your F-250. I remember you talking about it in the video you towed your kei truck home with. I hope you have a great day!

Nice video Mike
Thanks Ants! I really appreciate it man 👍
Hope your having a good Spring!
Love these videos! Been wanting to build a small camper for my Suzuki. Would you ever make a cost breakdown of your camper?
Amayama has OEM boots. I bought some for my 91 db51t Suzuki Carry
Hello 👋 , I would like to thank Google for the opportunity to come across your video. Thanks for the great video.
Right on 👍 thanks for checking out my channel 😊
Got a 91Suzuki at Japanese auction (dump) will take time to arrive east coast. Your video was great appreciate the bullet points for maintenance ... I assume your 92 will have same as my 91? I live rural and will use for moving lumber, cord wood, manure... but I like a clean machine and will use it on the road for local travel. Pretty psyched. I'm 70. Lived in Japan 2 years in the 80's and drove one all over. Can't wait!
Great tips Mike! I did most of that for all the reasons you mentioned. Except.... rear brake shoes, the truck spins out on me if I have to lock up the brakes. Scary stuff. Tried everything I know except the shoes, so 🤞
Hey Mike… Kei is pronounced like Kay. 😉

Nice and thank you for the tips!
Are minivans the same with your truck?🙏🤙🇵🇭
Hey Mike, great video as always. My Minicab is currently no start, and I'm going to have to pull the carb ( I have a spare). While I'm there, I suspect the vacuum lines are factory original - can I replace them with the same Amazon air running you included in the description, or is there something better to use? Obviously I'll verify ID and approximate length before ordering. Thanks!
Mike, I would love to see a video of you making custom Dirt Bike racks for you and your brothers Kei's. That would make for an excellent video and also would really be cool to see you take the new chinese bikes out.
Nice T-shirt, Mike!
Do you have a recommendation for a brake bleeder?
that kei truck looks so bad ass
👍👍
Are "most" JDM KEI trucks 4×100mm bolt patern for the Rims, or are they awkward sized?
Two Questions if you have time: CV joint boot kit? Have a new suggestion? and Second: What Service Manual do you suggest? Seems dodgy out there ...some so blurry you can't read them! And thanks again... I heard you on subscribing with notifications ... done.
Basically what Mikie mentioned in this video should be done to any used vehicle one buys that has some miles and or age on them... Better to do the basics now,and have many trouble free miles without any major high cost brake downs because you didn't want to swap out a 30 dollar belt,or a cheap hose,or a few bucks worth of ignition parts... Just the tow bill will cost you more than the replacement parts and labor will BEFORE it breaks...
Hi, I’ve been thinking a lot recently about getting one of these trucks . Do you think someone that is 6 foot three like myself could fit in that truck comfortably?
No! It’s upsetting but my buddy who is 6’2 cannot fit in my Suzuki carry
There’s not much comfort in these trucks, but it’s doable for sure. I daily a Honda Acty HA4 and I’m 6’3” 220lbs. So not huge but not tiny. Find one for sale and test drive it but if I can fit you can probably fit too!
Depends upon what you call "comfortable", how you are built (is your height in your upper or lower body) and which Kei truck you pick as not all are the same with respect to space for drivers. I am 6'5" and 280 and I daily drive a Mitsubishi Minicab. For me space around my knees to allow for turn signal is the tight spot. But otherwise plenty of headroom and no issues moving feed around. If you buy one, you should make sure you fit in it. For example I wanted a Honda Acty, but don't fit well in it, but fit in the Minicab.
All great advice. I have to do all these things on my Suzuki. Right now the fuel pump isn't working and the spark is really weak. I replaced the plugs but the spark is a weak yellow/orange. Maybe I have to change out the coil.
Change plug wires and coil wire cap rotor as well as coil you will be amazed what carbon tracking will do to your spark
If the spark is yellow on all spark plugs then it isn't the plugs, but the cdi, coils, distributor cap, maybe even the rotor, but highly doubtful unless it's heavily corroded,or really badly worn because there is a voltage drop due to bad coil, corrosion,or shorting cdi causing the weak firing on all cylinders... If it was just a plug or wire then only that cylinder would show weak yellow or white fire, not all 2,3,4,5,6,8,10,12,16...
Did you film this during the hunger games?
If I had one of those trucks the first thing i'd do is transplant a 1200 cc goldwing engine trans into it. than i'd put a couple of CRV honda axles in it.
And what would you do without reverse,or 4wd ?? Why not a turbo busa engine?? 3x + the hp...
