The lightworker in my life is my ballet teacher. I used to be a ballet student at her studio back home in Thailand before coming to Australia to study. It’s been almost a year since I came here and I stopped dancing. During quarantine, my ballet teacher creates this free online live ballet class for her students and anyone who’s interested. I got to dance again and to see all the people at the studio after such a long time. I miss seeing them. She is truly passionate in teaching and I got closer to her even more than when I was back home! I am so happy! I am now dancing from Monday to Friday in my living room in the flat, which is even more frequently than my once a week class before! I am truly grateful for her for bringing light in our lives.♥️

Look for the light workers! Yes! Especially when you think you’re alone in the dark - just seeing how other people are figuring their way through, to bring light to others ...sheds light on your own path. At least how/where you want your path to lead to. The other half of the equation has been to realize how what you do ...does affect others. And choosing that to be illuminating others, rather than obscuring them or stealing the limelight, can be empowering - both in the sense of lifting someone else up to be more themselves, and realizing you have the strength to do so in the first place.

At my keys I have that phrase "Instead of complaining about darkness, I light my little candle" That's my definition of light worker. "Each time you listen without interrupting, you are being a light worker, each time you are listening without judging, you are a light worker, each time you ask How can I help? "... One thing I have realized is that it’s ok to be down but still have the ability to bring something to others. On days where I’m low energy and not feeling it, I call those days candle days because while I’m down, I’m still not out. I’m still giving light just not at a high rate. Then there are days when my energy is up and I’m doing what I can for others. I call those days spotlight days. The point I try to make is that on low energy days I still give light, though not on a big scale, and on high positive energy days, I shine bright. It’s ok to have candle days and spotlight days. Just don’t let your light go out.
I started watching and ending this with a huge smile on my face, with happy bubbles bursting from within. The story about the fireflies was so beautiful. We learn to appreciate light in the dark. We wanna go into musical theatre and perform, but the thing about my friend is that her parents don’t support her decision and passion for the arts. I wish we could get Light Lessons. Unfortunately it's only available in the US. I'll have to make my own version. It won't be the same,😔 but it's better than nothing. A few weeks back, I grieved along with a friend and her family over the tragic loss of her angelic, almost 3-year-old daughter to a rare neurological disease. Isolation due to the pandemic kept them from conducting the traditional amenities. In place of that, they provided bags of sand containing small candles which they asked people to light on their outside steps during the night when they would normally have had a wake. The magnificent sharing of those candles created a common stream of hope that conducted itself as if by magic as far as the heart could see. And so-even aggrieved in the depth of sorrow-when given the opportunity to choose a pathway, they chose light.
I cannot thank you enough for teaching me what it means to be a light worker. I am so excited for this series. This reminds me of every week when I would pull one before school and really think about which each card meant. It helped me grow tremendously, and I know this series will do the same for so many others. Light lessons are a gift, this series is a gift, you are a gift. Thank you. 💜🥺

Sierra, the timing of this video could not have been more perfect. At my keys I have that phrase "Instead of complaining about darkness, I light my little candle" That's my definition of light worker.
"Each time you listen without interrupting, you are being a light worker, each time you are listening without judging, you are a light worker, each time you ask How can I help? "... One thing I have realized is that it’s ok to be down but still have the ability to bring something to others. On days where I’m low energy and not feeling it, I call those days candle days because while I’m down, I’m still not out. I’m still giving light just not at a high rate. Then there are days when my energy is up and I’m doing what I can for others. I call those days spotlight days. The point I try to make is that on low energy days I still give light, though not on a big scale, and on high positive energy days, I shine bright. It’s ok to have candle days and spotlight days. Just don’t let your light go out.
You are one source of light (worker). 💕
I started watching and ending this with a huge smile on my face, with happy bubbles bursting from within. The story about the fireflies was so beautiful. We learn to appreciate light in the dark. And we are all light in each other's darkness. No matter how quick or long the journey is.

We wanna go into musical theatre and perform, but the thing about my friend is that her parents don’t support her decision and passion for the arts. When I was little I used switch on all the lights in the house when I was alone. I've learnt to deal with the dark. Thanks for sharing your amazing thoughts and inspiration with all of us.

A few weeks back, I grieved along with a friend and her family over the tragic loss of her angelic, almost 3-year-old daughter to a rare neurological disease. Isolation due to the pandemic kept them from conducting the traditional amenities. In place of that, they provided bags of sand containing small candles which they asked people to light on their outside steps during the night when they would normally have had a wake. The magnificent sharing of those candles created a common stream of hope that conducted itself as if by magic as far as the heart could see. And so-even aggrieved in the depth of sorrow-when given the opportunity to choose a pathway, they chose light.
I cannot thank you enough for teaching me what it means to be a light worker. I am so excited for this series. This reminds me of every week when I would pull one before school and really think about which each card meant. It helped me grow tremendously, and I know this series will do the same for so many others. Light lessons are a gift, this series is a gift, you are a gift. Thank you. 💜🥺

Sierra, the timing of this video could not have been more perfect. To add to this already amazing video...in Judaism, there is a saying that goes something like "A little bit of light can dispel a whole lot of darkness".
