That was why the officer also checked his TH-cam videos to verify. This shows that the officer was doing his job responsibly instead of being a Rubber Stamp Machine. Unfortunately at the time of entry, you did go to many countries...and some of which were having difficult political times. I believe it might be a random check and therefore, you just got the unhappy check. I believe it might be a more thorough check in Singapore, but anyway...with all the hassle...and bad mood through immigration, I hope you have a better one tomorrow. Or else since you like roti canai, you might walk a few minutes to Syed Bistro Restaurant next to the Puchong Perdana LRT Station. There are plenty of mamak food in that restaurant and the Teh Tarik is superb.

Welcome back to South East Asia. Is a super long day. Reminded me of my trip from Spore to Swecie, Poland. Took me almost 30 hrs, door to door with transit in Doha to Warsaw and then 3 hours wait for my transport and another 3 hours drive to Swecie...

Correct that is one thing. He should have got a different kind of visa and inform them that he might be coming back soon. They will always put a remark on the system. But the one hour Que is rather embarrassing. Before covid our immigration used to be efficient. Maybe those fellows got lazy after the long break.

Ever since the reopening of borders, thousands of foreign visitors visit Malaysia, of course the officers also have to be alert to sort out the genuine visitors such as going through questioning. Just like the UK border control officers are doing. They are not rubber stamp machine. Just stamp and go like in some Schengen Countries.
