The Ethical Dilemma Of Genome Editing | The CRISPR Revolution

  • CRISPR genome editing could revolutionize human evolution. It gives scientists the ability to alter parts of the human genome by adding or removing sections of the human DNA sequence. As advanced as this technology is, it also brings up the issue of morality, how far should humans be going to change the course of their evolution?

Why are you being so hyperbolic? Clearly the vaccines helped and clearly they didnt cause damage.. what caused damage was people and the psyche we werent prepared for when restricting autonomy like that. But what we are dealing with is not a normal issue, the literal only solution were to isolate, if we had any better option we would have used that but to stop a pandemic we quite literally have to cull some freedoms for abit.. and if everyone just held out a little longer and npt break the rules we set in place we could have gone back to normalcy much quicker! But halfassing it alone made the difference between 1 million and 2 million deaths.. yeah, it was that bad but those are just number, just because we dont see em doesnt mean they arent happening. If you want a much stronger case speak to ANY doctor during the event, they SEE the increase so clearly that it literally overwhelmed the entire medical system so having folk who "doubted" covid was even a thing didnt help em one bit.
