i miss when mad city competed with jailbreak. in 2019-2021 their player counts were basically identical, now jailbreak gets approximately 15x more players than mad city. basically chapter 2 was the games downfall.

I feel MCY urban combat was top tier on Roblox. Explosion effects, gunfire, bullet shelling on the floor, drive by, player mechanics, jets, etc. Something very different on Roblox for its time.
I've been playing Madcity since its release too, and it is very true that it has fallen down bad in playercount. The fun is gone now and the fact that it had so many people back in the day was crazy compared to how many it is now. Right after Ch.2 was out, i moved to jailbreak which has more fun updates and just everything is better since the whole game didnt even change much. The only way Madcity can grow its playercount is Ch.1, but even if it is Chapter 1, there will still be no updates such as in the old days like boss fights. (they were extremely fun to do)
The Chris P. Bacon boss fight looks cash grab, but yeah, they need money since the game start to decline active players due to unwelcomed changes in CH2.
I have a history with madcity enjoyed it soo much but cant do anything now as that era of extreme fun sadly ended and now i have other things that i enjoy and they will also end after a certain time as will we. Good luck guys. 😊
I 100% agree with you. I genuinely liked the release of Chapter 2 when it was released and don't get me wrong, I loved the revamped heists and the new map but it kept changing and changing and it just got super boring or just didn't feel the same to be. I wish we could get the Season 1 map back tbh. At least they're gonna bring back Chapter 1 soon so that'll be a nice nostalgia trip.

@@Garrett_Hawke more like 1.5-2x more. If it was 10x then it would've had 200k+. Right now the game peaks at 25k, in 2019 it was 40k.
