The titular "Alienator" is a Californian body builder named Teagan Clive. Apparently she came from a tough background of being abandoned by her parents, but she overcame that and took up weight lifting (as well as writing about techniques) as a livelihood. In the tradition of bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger getting into acting, she also appeared in a number of movies besides "Alienator," including bit parts in the John Candy movie "Armed and Dangerous" and as a Russian athlete in the Whoopi Goldberg movie "Jumping Jack Flash." She wasn't very prolific, probably because acting was just a side thing to her passion for pumping iron, but she seems like a swell lady. It's a shame we never got to see her collaborate with Cynthia Rothrock.

About Jan Michael Vincent... the female lead from AirWolf was married to a prof I had in college. She would come to class some of the time and I was a big fan of the show and was thrilled to get to know her. She regaled me with all sorts of tales about how hammered that guy was all the time and how hard it was to get him to remember lines and marks and stay awake.
First off, it's really cool you got to know Jean Bruce Scott, and hear those stories. Second, its sad that Jan Michael Vincent was so incredibly self destructive.

I actually saw bits and pieces of "Alienator" on the sci-fi channel when I was 7-8 years old (so like, '91-'92) while at my Grandma's house. My Uncle walked into the living room, saw the woman with the white hair, started laughing hysterically and called my Aunt into the room to see it. Good times.

I know this is 5 years late but there was only one other actor who could give Basil Rathbone a run for him money during a sword fighting scene and that was Danny Kaye. Even though Kaye had no experience with swords and had to have 6 months of training, his quick learning, ambidextrous ability and keen periferial vision allowed him to become quickly skilled, to the point that even Basil Rathbone had to turn up his game during their swordfighting scenes.
My nine year old daughter just yelled, "RICH EVANS!!!," when he started laughing. So... Now I'm not sure if I've taught my daughter to yell, "WHAT THE FUCK," and laugh hysterically, or if Rich has!
I love coming back to these old episodes if for no other reason than to watch the view numbers on 6+ year old videos continue to steadily rise. I'd argue that almost nothing on TH-cam has aged this well.

Love that Charles Napier was the colonel in Alien from the Deep. He's from my hometown, and he's got a prominent plaque on our square as a "Hometown Hero." I like to think it was this particular performance that landed him the honor.
Listening to the description of Hands of Steel and all the "they did this as it had to happen for the film" makes me realise Kurtzman is actually about as good as these directors/writers, he just has friends in high places to get him big films and series to ruin.
Finally a new episode, as soon as I discovered this channel mainly thanks to the plinkett star wars reviews, i binge watched all of best of the worst, I've been fiendin' for a new episode for weeks.

The Alienator chick is fucking badass. I about died when the arrow hit her in the back of the head and she's calmly like "huh, somebody must be sneaking around".
Airwolf actually had 4 seasons! However the entire original cast was written out of the show and the filming moved to Canada. They also only used existing footage for the helicopter and filmed no new helicopter footage. It was horribly panned and despised by fans and Jan-Michael only appears for part of the first episode so it is understandable that Rich chose not to mention it.
Literally just realized this on the 4th or 5th time over the years. I thought that was just a non-slip mat on the ground. It looks like it might be foam to stop the bottle from breaking.

One of the most rewarding things has been watching Best of the Worst for years, and then watching Space Cop and seeing all the call backs to everything they've watched and every guest they've had on!

Love that Charles Napier was the colonel in Alien from the Deep. He's from my hometown, and he's got a prominent plaque on our square as a "Hometown Hero." I like to think it was this particular performance that landed him the honor.

Listening to the description of Hands of Steel and all the "they did this as it had to happen for the film" makes me realise Kurtzman is actually about as good as these directors/writers, he just has friends in high places to get him big films and series to ruin.

The Alienator chick is fucking badass. I about died when the arrow hit her in the back of the head and she's calmly like "huh, somebody must be sneaking around".
Airwolf actually had 4 seasons! However the entire original cast was written out of the show and the filming moved to Canada. They also only used existing footage for the helicopter and filmed no new helicopter footage. It was horribly panned and despised by fans and Jan-Michael only appears for part of the first episode so it is understandable that Rich chose not to mention it.

One of the most rewarding things has been watching Best of the Worst for years, and then watching Space Cop and seeing all the call backs to everything they've watched and every guest they've had on!
I enjoy watching the shelf in the beginning, finding other movies they've watched or will watch. It's like, "ooh, there's Bio Hazard. There's Karate Cop. The Jar. Lady Terminator. Sci-fi Invasion with ROTOR."
