This is a good tutorial, even though I dont have UEFN I still think this is a good tutorial. Its easy to follow and listen too, I was suprised when it only had 765 likes, hope u grow bigger ( if u see this ) ❤
Just wanted to say thank you for this video. Your voice was calming and made listening to what you were saying so much clearer! Please make more of these! I'm subbing for sure!

Very Very good Video, you really helped me! I don't know how you have only 125 Subcribers, your amazing. And btw you made is international. Im from Germany. Good job 🙏🙏🙏
Wow thank you! I'm very glad you found it helpful and easy to follow. My idea with this tutorials was exactly that, to be super clear even if you are using UEFN for the first time. Hope to see what you make in UEFN. You can share your work in my Discord server
Wow, thank you very much! Comments like these mean a lot to me. Thank you for taking the time to watch my tutorial and leave a positive comment. I am glad you found it helpful 😊
First of all great video. On my map the camera films a video. The problem on my map ist that if I trigger the cinematic sequence it plays from where the video is in that moment so it doesn’t start from the beginning is there a way to maybe have an prerecorded video so it always starts in the beginning or are there any other ways to get to start the video always from the beginning.
@@imJaviRomero bro Javi, do you think you can continue to make these tutorials they are really good! Can you some day make one where you can make some parts of your map darker like in forests or caves?
Thank you! Im glad you liked it. And yeah, you can make a cinematic in-game and select a trigger, then go to gameplay or a private version and record your screen while you play the cinematic.
This is great for cinematics, intros, etc. Well done. I have a question : how can I select the parent actor (static mesh), instead of the child ? Whenever I click on a composite asset, it only selects the child.
I'm glad you liked the tutorial. And regarding your question I don't quite understand what you mean. If you want, you can join my Discord server and you can share screenshots over there just to kind of understand better what you mean.
Is there a way to ensure that the Cinematic only plays once per player. To avoid a player from watching the same cinematic every time it passes through a given trigger ? Does that make sense ? Edit... found it.. in the trigger details.. there is a check box for "times can trigger". Hopefully that does it.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you liked my tutorial. I started uploading recently but I will be uploading 2 times a week. Tomorrow I'll drop another tutorial :D
Hey! I’m glad you found the tutorial helpful. Regarding your question, there is no way at the moment to animate or manipulate the player’s animations. But you can use custom assets or characters and animate them in your cinematics. You can use a mix of Sketchfab and Mixamo to have custom characters with custom animations
You're welcome! And yes! I have a full tutorial on how to lock the player while a cinematic is playing: th-cam.com/video/eO93cXj7AuQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zlmhBtErvwm70kYY
Thank you very much. I'm glad you found it helpful. I will be uploading new tutorials soon. Regarding triggering it only one time, I think that would be better through Verse. Right now I don't know how with devices. It is a great idea for a short tutorial, if I find out how to do it I'll explain it in a video.
Hi, great video! One question, I can`t find a way to export cinematic, is there any way to do that? .I want to have control over quality of video, but all I can find is only to record screen with OBS or similar and that means loosing quality. There is some sort of blueprint for making Screenshots, but there is no such a thing for Video that I know. UEFN is in some form easier than UE4/5 but because of so many restrictions it is really pain to get proper result. Keep up with the good work!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the video. And yeah, there is no way to export the cinematic. You can export Sequencer cinematics on UE but UEFN doesn't allow it. Another huge difference between the 2 is that you can use spawnable objects on UEFN. Everything needs to already exist in the map for you to use it in your cinematics. The best way to do it is through OBS. Maybe in the future they will allow for exporting renders. Hopefully!
Gracias Javi por el video! How can I make it so that the cinematic only plays once, and the subsequent times that you step on the trigger nothing happens?
Con mucho gusto! And about your question, something you could do is disable the trigger platform once the trigger gets activated. You can go to the trigger platform, add on the “Disable” function the same trigger, and as event choose “On triggered”
Yeah, the player can still move, but you can disable the player movement while a cinematic is playing. I have a tutorial on how to do that in my channel. I’m glad you liked my video. Hope it was helpful 🫶🏼
Hey! You would need to upload to a private version and play there. If you want to learn how to play cinematics without any HUD elements I have a tutorial about that in my channel.
@@imJaviRomero Love your channel! been using your videos lately, this deserves a million views. Quick question: What's the difference between "client side animation" and "server side"? I've notice animations don't play when using Fortnite's replay mode
Are those custom roads? I can lay a road down via spline but what about sidewalks, it had to get them all even so each square is perfectly level and not to tilted. Got Any videos on cool sidewalks and roads?

Hey! If it's not playing it could be an issue with what you are using as a trigger. Maybe it's not connected correctly. Remember to choose a device as a trigger and select the event you want for the cinematic to play.
