- Join Theo and myself for the annual Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza 2024
The May bank holiday extravaganza is back for 2024 with rides from way back to the Victorian days, such as the steam powered carousels, as well as modern rides too.
In this vlog we show you the whole site and take you on rides too.
The extravaganza is on annually for May Day Bank holiday weekend. There's not just rides here, there's steam engines, old busses, side shows, organs too! In my experience, there used to be so much more from the olden era, so hopefully they will be back again in years to come.
Please note we use specific equipment to film on rides. We strongly suggest that you don't use your phone on rides.

I love Llandudno, happy family memories there. Definitely take Theo to the happy valley to the tobogan run, i took my partner last summer 2 rides for 20 quid i think it was, its really fun.

hello paul and theo love a good street fairs i'm going to dronfield bowshaw roundabout tomorrow to support my local fair which is Farrar's funfair celebrate my birthday cause i'm 25 today.

Old rides:
Eli Bridge Wheel,
Think thats a Savages set of Gallopers, Gallopers are a UK ride and turn clockwise, Carousels go anti clockwise and are often found in the US. I think they've called them Carousels as thats what a majority of the public call them.
Electric Yachts are made by Savages (same as Carters ones), they were prob steam originally,
The mini car ride is made by Hayes Fabrications,
2nd Gallopers are Savages,
The Lighthouse Slip is made by Supercar I think? most of them were,
love the old Scammell lorry, that 2nd slip looks exactly the same as the one that was at Gt Yarmouth seafront last year,
that smaller Helter Skelter is a Supercar Sky Line slip,
Atlantic Star Wheel is also made by Eli Bridge,
The barrels and wooden blocks holding up the Ghost Train is called "packing" and is totally safe, without it the ride would be dangerously unstable,
Fabbri Tagada, that is a slippy one!
Theo's favorite, the Fun House,
KMG Freak Out, that lady on the left with the glasses has gone into "chunder mode"! I think she did go out for a few seconds bless her,
Bertazzon "London" Dodgems, whiplash city! lol!
