Great video. Was on that tram in 2019. When we did a coach tour from Scotland and we were lucky to see the goats on the mountain. We are back again this time by car this Saturday for a week. Where we will go back up the Orme and also visit Anglesey cant wait,The Alice in Wonderland trail is great as well
My favourite holiday (vacation) destination Llandudno I was recommended that it wouldn't be up too much but , I really enjoyed it I stopped at the Chatsworth / brilliant experience 🏴
Amazing video Mr & Mrs Sanbrooke on ride The Great Orme Tramway located in Llandudno, Wales! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Mr & Mrs Sanbrooke. 😀😃👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Superb Vlog you Both. My mom and dad Honeymooned in Llandudno in 1952. Ive been 3 times last was Sept 2022 for my Partners 50th. First time i went up Great Orme but didnt last 2 times, so great to see Tram ride in Full. Also saw your excellent Cable car vlog a while ago. I agree with earlier comment you should do Snowdon Mountain railway, the Summit is Awesome.
My dad lives here and it was wonderful to watch your video because I can't get to see him as much as I'd like. Thank you for bringing him a little closer.
May Day Bank Holiday is the best time to visit Llandudno as that's when there's both the Victorian Extravaganza on the streets and the Transport Festival also which takes place on the field between Llandudno itself and Craig Y Don.
Love these videos of the historic trolleys and train rides! I live near San Francisco in CA, and if you want to ride our cable cars, it's best to not try to board at Fisherman's Wharf. Everyone boards there and it's always super crowded. That is where you can see them turn the car around on a turntable, which is pretty interesting, but it's best if you board somewhere like Powell street then ride down to the wharf and watch the turntable.
It’s wierd seeing you two in my home town, Hope you had a good time! There’s a very unique ‘people powered’ rollercoaster just down the coast of north wales at Greenwood park (The green dragon), it’s rlly cool, although the rest of the attractions are mainly for small kids.
I do love a tram ride,i have done the one in seaton devon which was really good ,but i have never been to wales and after seeing this vlog and the amazing scenery i really want to go now ,looks beautiful.I used to go crabbing with my mum,dad and sister at mudeford quay in dorset and yes you catch them see who can catch the biggest then let them go again ,great fun.
Very interesting video on The Great Orme Tramway. I never knew it operated in two halves like that with a halfway station. Fascinating video thank you👌
Hi, Shawn and Charlotte. I really enjoyed this video! If you end up visiting the beaches in New Jersey or Maryland someday, watch out for the seagulls there. They will steal your food, too!
I think San Francisco wants to restore the E tram, which follows the F-Market line before meeting one of the Muni subway lines that continues to 4th/king station-although there is a loop at pier that could be used in the future depending on how the tunnel used by the T connects to the F-Market tram and/or the Presidio (or just use the yard a little ways further I guess). The tram that serves the zoo has been bustitutied for many years as well do to repairs
I’ve never been to San Francisco so I don’t know the full extent as to why the line to the zoo has been out of action, how long it has been, and when tram service will return
@@TheSanbrookeAdventuresI recently went to Llandudno last month to celebrate my 22nd birthday, got a few CDs in the pier and played on the 2p machines too. Was gonna go on the tram too but didn't get the time to but it was worth it. I did go on the old bus that went up the Great Orme and had some stunning views ❤
I believe the right of way for the old tram for Oaks Amusement Park in Portland is currently used for freight, but that might be all. Clementon Park is close enough to Lindenwold, which is an intermodal Station between the Patco metro line and NJT rail and bus services-but you still need a bus as last mile if you started in Camden or Philadelphia (which still has 6 urban trams, 5 via a center city tunnel, and 3 suburban lines-one of them use to carry service all the way to Allentown). I guess the modern tram in the San Jose-Santa Clarita area does serve Great America, but so does Amtrak-which I think is the cooler part because no one likes the VTA)-also Phoenix’s light rail does connect Sky Harbor to Castles and Coasters-although not that competitive time-wise to driving unfortunately (the new Mattel park is 12mi SW and better off just getting a hire car or car pool unfortunately)
I love going on the tram , last year we went on it , it was lovely and sunny and when we were going further up it went very cloudy and rained , I was frozen !! , I do love Llandudno ❤️ xx
if you have ice cream then to dodge the gulls go under one of the rooves of the little kiosks and they tend not to attack unlike if you are walking alog with one looking around, they are quite delinquent
We've been up the Great Orme many times, we drive. Thought you might've gone in the Mine. On a clear day great view it's a lovely drive up. We always go crabbing in Wales. Yes guys you put them back.

Driving up is great. The marine drive has some amazing views and the drive up the orme is great too, passing the cemetery. Theres a small fee for the marine drive but it is worth it.
Charlotte mentioned that the goats hide under rocks sometimes in bad weather. Do you mean like overhanging rocks and cave entrances ? I like to think of the goats being cozy and protected. Wales looks nice
Im intrigued to know how this works. If its pulled up by a steel cable powered by a motor at the top how does the driver control the speed? Yes now it could be wireless link but in 1902 it wouldnt have been!
Brilliant vlog. I feel Shawn's pain losing his sausage roll. Living near the seaside in the north east there is loads of seagulls. A seagull grabbed something off me as a child, now I will not eat anything outside. Have you ever been to the north east to do vlogs?
I went on the tram but i suffer with urge incontinence and i forgot to take my solificen i was bursting for a pee every half hour good job i had a empty coke bottle handy
If Shawn had a nickel for every time he’s had a sausage roll snatched by the Shiekra seagulls, he’d have 2…which isn’t a lot, but it’s still interesting it’s happened twice in the same week
SEAN AND CHAR I AM COMING TO ALTON TOWERS ON FRIDAY. ARE YOU GOING THERE THEN? IM A VULNERABLE PERSON AND YOU ARE MY HEROES PLEASE CAN YOU MEET ME THERE?❤
I used to live in Llandudno, love the Great Orme. Those goats have a tendency to come down and wander round the town.
they really did party in the streets during the lockdowns
It’s great!

Absolutely glorious in Wales capturing every styled layout love it.
When you're in Wales a festinating Railway to do is the Festiniog and Welsh Highlad Railways because they have so much history.
Thanks for your recommendations!

I’m local to Llandudno, spare a thought for me, I cycled around the Orme today, hard work for a 57 year old 17 stone guy 😂

love the Orme tram, my great nephew who is 6 loves the mechanisms an how it works

I did the tramway last October. Llandudno is a great place and we was going to do the Bobsled but due to it starting to rain, they had to close it!

It’s definitely something I would love to do
