That’s what I did to mine is put vanquish wheels and vanquish dual foams on is it makes it craw so much better the stock electronics are surprisingly good
I’m lovin mine. I went the same route as the Pro 2300, but went with a Reefs 777 direct power for the 2.2 wheels and tires I put on.
This thing is screaming for 2.2's!
You will seriously help yourself by putting a small Bend on the lower links at the axle end

Reefs tripple 888 is the bee's knees in my carbon. Looking at the new 900lp to replace the 888 tho so i can run it behind the axle and bot bust it up like the 888 would being so big.
Looks like the same mods I’m about to do with mine. I’m loving this rig, especially with the Jconcepts the hold tires on it. Running the Injora greens.

If you think a box stock capra sucks then you need to find your driver mod because that vehicle even straight out of the box was so capable!! Idk what you're smoking, but sharing is caring!!😂
@guywithashovelproductions I guess I'm just a better driver I didn't have a whole lot of issues stock and out crawled all the rtr and kits at the time. So if you guys had issues it was the lack of your driving skills not the vehicle. There are many capra review videos of it out crawling all rtr and kits at the time and even beat out some comp rigs at the time. Lots of evidence that shows this.
By stock you mean everything, wheels and tires included? Because yeah, I’d say that would suck in comparison to what it could be.
Throw some straight axles on it if you really want to see something.
I found my box stock 4ws Capra to be the worst rig I’ve ever owned. Then with mods it was great.
The transmission in the capra has always been garbage. If you change the trans, get longer links, better shocks, decent electronics, better tires, and brass up front, it's decent. You must not know what good performance is, if you think the capra was ever good in stock form lol
@TheAmericanUhate you all missed the point. Just because the capra could have been better doesn't mean it wasn't the highest performing truck at the time, especually of the rtr .even beating out some fully built lcg builds at the time. But obviously, this whole conversation is going right over the top of everyone's head arguing different points, lmao. If yall didn't like the capra that's on you but it was at the time the best crawl you could have bought and to say other wise is straight stupid

I've just gone to 4s with a Slate 2280kv, haven't driven it yet though.
I kinda wish they put a two speed in it. It might need an outrunner on 4s if you want some speed for trailing and still want to crawl.

It’s a trail buggy ….. if we keep changing all these RC cars for the big companies they’ll just keep making lackluster product and will be like oh it’s so great. Look at what I did $580 later stop by the crap make them do the job.
I [put the Fusion 2300 in mine and it changed everything about it.
