    From Sudbury! The coloured building at 13:35 is our old hospital! I was born there in '95. Now we have Health Sciences North, our GIANT hospital built only about 8-9 years ago!

      HSN is a lot older than 8-9 years. I’ve been here since 2006 and it’s always been here

      Great to know. Thanks for watching Veronique. Hope they will convert that old hospital building to a hotel or condo towers. It's so close to the beach and boardwalk in Ramsey Lake.

      Thanks for watching Dan and the great info. The grotto was worth the visit. But I was dismayed seeing some statues vandalized. How could that happen in such a beautiful place?

      Thanks for watching David. It was raining that time so we didn't go far walking. We'll do that next time maybe.

    Awesome seeing this! I actually live in Onaping (the town is off the highway just a couple minutes after the falls) also just a quick fyi its pronounced On-aping. Oh and if you would have went to the other side there is actually a bridge that goes over the falls and brings you onto a hiking trail.

    • @THEPENSIONERS
      @THEPENSIONERS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching Shawn. We saw the walking bridge from the viewing decks, but it was raining and the trails were slippery and so scary. Maybe next time we'll give it a go. Thanks for the great info.

    It's not O-naping Falls, it's ON-aping Falls. Keep going north! It's even more beautiful up by Terrace Bay.

      Noted, thanks Joanne. We met a California couple in

    • @THEPENSIONERS
      @THEPENSIONERS  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We suggested to the California couple we met along the way to visit this Falls. Terrace Bay was in our bucket list but due to time limit we couldn't do so. Next time maybe.

    Sudbury was unbelievably toxic (the environment and the humans) and it is best not to make any plans to travel or live anywhere near that town.

    • @sb0ng3

      Couldn’t have said it better

    • @THEPENSIONERS
      @THEPENSIONERS  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The toxic environment, I get it. Just the day we left our Sudbury hotel and reached Sault Ste. Marie, the headline news of 39 miners trapped underground was so scary. Glad they were all alive and safe. Not heard much about the other toxic element.
