Thank you for delivering such a detailed and informative video. The jewels of the royal Swedish family are simply astonishing. I encourage you to continue this series. One royal house I would love to see feathered in one of your videos is the Spanish house of Borbón. They do have a nice collection of tiaras and other pieces of jewelry. The House of Bernadotte not only possesses tiaras of great beauty, but ones of such historical interest. Such a supreme irony that the descendants of Desiree Clary wear the tiaras of Empress Josephine.
@@inaleyen2737 It is also an historical irony that in the great rivalry between Napoleon and Bernadotte, the two sons of the Revolution, that Bernadotte ended up winning the corporeal prizes. A few minor mistakes but some mistakes often slip in! The blonde swedish Princess (in the Aquamarine diadem) name is Madeleine & not Margaret as he says. And the Margaret he talks about was her great grandmother, king Karl gustav XVI's grandmother.
Princess Madeline (I know I probably got the spelling wrong of her name) is beautiful! I love her 18th birthday present tiara, the aquamarine bandeau. When it was created, it was ahead of its time.
"Once upon a time in a far, far away land there was a beautiful princess" are the words that every little girl dreams of being and a tiara is just the ticket to take them there, even if just for a day. Tiaras are indeed on the uptick in the wedding world. Spurred on by the royals and the famous, a tiara is chosen by the bride with all the attention of the ring itself. Diamonds may not fit the budget of every father of the bride, but with the increase in production of lab created diamonds and Swarovski crystals, the trip to that far, far away land is closer than you might think. Every princess can now have her day. Hi Andrew, just read that Angola has revealed a 170ct pink, a diamond of that size only seen once in every 300 years.
