Watching you in Korea. Got to know your channel recently and have been enjoying it. Glad to watch your camino from the beginning "real time". Look forward to it.
What a joy to see you again in Spain doing the Camino. I'm from Madrid and I didn't know where it came from, not even where the church of Santiago is. 😘😘😘😘
Hahahahaha!!! There is no marker to start the way. I’m not surprised you didn’t know about the Camino. Most locals thought I was in transit to start somewhere on the Camino Frances.
Looking good on another Camino trek with a new purple shirt! That's a great price on trekking poles. Great seeing you happy on another trail, especially after your CDT adventures with big snowstorm and other weather disasters.
Hey old man , I'm a cheap old guy . I got my poles from Costco for 29.00 they are carbon fiber with cork handles and quick releasing lock mechanism with different foot pads . I'm not making extra money playing drums for a jazz band but did travel as a roadie in the mid 80s around the PNW.
@@willardwooten9582 I'll be hiring you as a roadie for the next gig, I'm tired of hauling drums around!😉 Yeah, my poles are Costco specials, $25 or so, not nearly as fancy as yours and rarely carry or use them unless I'm hiking on snow or I'm overnighting on purpose.
I am dying over here in a Spanish bar. Laughing really loud. 😭. There are four old guy playing cards looking at me like I’m loco. The best..... “I’m not making extra money playing drums I a jazz band” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yay! Glad to see the vlog and happy you're back here in Spain. Very innovative way to walk out of Madrid but still stay in a cheap ish place. Pleasepleaseplease post a gear video when you can.
@@SaraDhooma Oh, Sara, I am so sorry this happened to you. I was grateful to hear that you are safe now. I hope you will have a chance to heal after this trauma. I am soo sorry that you had to experience this... shouldn't happen to any woman... ever. My wife and I send our heartfelt wishes and hopes for your camino and life! Steve
They have always shipped beer in Spain, many years ago there was wine. But young people who are more consuming burgers consume beer. Greetings from Madrid
I finished my CDT journey for 2019! I am going to do a ‘Triple Tiara’ year In 2020 finishing up all my missing ‘big 3’ trail sections. Crater Lake area on the PCT (fire/snow in 2018), Winds & Colorado on the CDT, and New England has AT (Connecticut to Maine) with the grand finish on Mama K!!!!
Not too be picky but with all the time you've spent in Spain, you should maybe learn some Spanish. The beer is "Ma-oo" or in the south "Meow." Silent H. I was in Madrid at the same time as you. Walked through El Sol numerous times. Stayed on the Calle Atocha.
Thanks for letting me know! I have taken Spanish classes, but it doesn’t seem to stick unfortunately. I do practice and try to communicate in Spanish with locals along the Camino. It is slowly improving!
Sara! I also did the A.T. in 2014. Part of the princess tour, we all had our tiaras! I will be taking mine with me on the Camino Madrid this April:)
Thank you! I am going to follow your journey and post one each day on my Facebook. Thank you for sharing your journey and beautiful spirit!!
Cheers Kathy! 🎈❤️
Getting started again to feature you on my FB.

Gear!!!!!! I have too much with me on this Camino because I was planning on going to Turkey to hike. I have all my camping stuff. 😭
Looking forward to following you on this route as I’ve heard mixed reviews about it.
I haven’t done much research into the route ahead so each day will be a surprise to me. I’m keeping an open mind. 😎
Watching you from England, LOVE your channel :) will be leaving in June 2020 😀
Awesome!!!!! I hope you have a fantastic hike!!!!!
Buen camino and hey purple shirt is back!
I have a brand new purple shirt!!! Thank you Jitasek! 💜
I will look at this one now , did not realize you had a few more videos before the ones where I left a comment. Hope you are OK.
Have a wonderful Camino, Sara!
Thank you Stephen! 🎈

This should be interesting to follow both you, and Dixie, who is doing the French Camino during this same time.
Two very different Caminos! I love the quieter routes where I get the Albergues all to myself. 😁
Nice video. Thanks. I’m leaving next May 2020
Awesome Petra!!!! Buen Camino in May!!!
Welcome back to the Camino! Never thought I’d see a McDonald’s with beer

Wine at McDonald’s?????? Now that I would have like to try!!! 😳

Translate, Spain was very peculiar 😂😂
You have more strength and endurance than I can shake a stick at.
Awwww Clyde! 🥰
Ha, I always spend too much time at McDonald's on my walks too!
Hahaha!!!! They also have a great ice cream menu here, so tempting!
Anubis is the Egyptian god you saw on the graffiti wall :)
He isn’t my favourite Egyptian god, but the graffiti version on the wall is gorgeous!!!
A highway crossing is technically a bridge. You owe us a bridge dance.
But the cars and traffic are ugly! 😉😉😉😉
I found It!!
Hi did you finish the CDT?
I finished my CDT journey for 2019! I am going to do a ‘Triple Tiara’ year In 2020 finishing up all my missing ‘big 3’ trail sections.

I see you got your purple shirt back.
I have a new one!!!! We’ll see how many trails this one lasts!!!!!!

You are perpetual motion!
I love the hiking life!!!! 😎
why do you need trail magic for? if you can afford to fly all over the world. why can't you afford a train pass?
Not sure what you are asking Tony. Most my flights I book with airline points that I accumulated over the years from opening and closing credit cards.
