She ruined it for herself when she brought feminism into it. She was so beautiful and innocent and fairy tale like up until that point. When she said “chauvinism” and then ”get stuffed” it gave her an unattractive hard edge which sickened many. Silly girl
@Trent Bell She is all for women's rights what is wrong with that, Michelle and other women riders were excluded from having a good ride, they were kept from the good horses , they were in a so called man's world and were shunned, she's hardly silly but very smart and speaks her mind, it's not 1956, grow up!
@@mstrunn exactly, women need more empowerment then men and she has every right to stand up for women and be proud of who she is. Well done for telling these clueless men what’s right, usually you don’t get guys doing that
Not my fav chick rider... I mean where are the interviews with... Meech or Thornton.. They are amazing jockeys.. Still don't understand how she got a ride in the cup but none of the truly incredible riders. Sorry Michelle but I never saw anything spectacular in your riding.
@themi giakoumis Im a chick jockey from the 90s. Don't assume. You do know Dettori pushed out half the field. Payne is from a huge racing family. Im just saying there are far better chick jockeys. Stephanie Thornton is a great metro rider and deserves a run in the cup. Shes a g1 winning hoop and completely underrated. I have done my share of track riding and I know what a good jock looks like. Payne is a publicity girl jock. She has made some comments about top trainers racing on bad turf. She wasnt even at the course when she made the statement. Basically told all the big stables they were doing wrong. Bit rude. I stand by my opinion. Try not to melt.

Linda Meech is probably Australia's best female Hoop. You cannot argue with that. As for Stephanie Thornton she is a sound rider with regard to others safety and her own. She truly ticks all the boxes for an amazing young jockey. She won well on 'S.Sedation' Fair race, She pushed at the right time. Got herself into the best position for her and her ride. You sound like an angry and hopeless gambler. On ya second mortgage? or something (Maybe meth)? This is my stage name you clearly google your ''Facts''. Plus I doubt you could name 5 female Hoops. Especially from the 90's. Keep googling your life...
