Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the biggest movie stars working today (quite literally.) But what if somebody had never heard of him? How would you pitch him and describe his career? Would you mentioned that he’s done kind of a lot of JUNGLE movies (Jumanji, The Rundown, Journey 2) or movies where buildings fall (Skyscraper, San Andreas) -- or maybe movies where jungle animals make buildings fall (Rampage)? That's a much better title.
Okay I was getting a bit mad that they did not mention some of his older classics that I loved as a kid. also they made a wise choice in calling it Welcome to the jungle in foreign markets, makes a lot more sense.
I had no idea it was called "The Rundown" until a few years ago, here in oz its "welcome to the jungle"

I like Pitch Meetings very much and following them since it started. As a cinema fan I think it's one of the most funniest video series on youtube. This new type "actor pitch meeting" is fun, but actually I enjoyed "movie pitch meetings" much more. Actor pitch meetings can be a spin-off series for another day of the week maybe?

I agree but still like this as well. I wouldn't give up on this format just not the majority of the time.
I like both maybe since recently you have been posting on Wednesday and Saturday maybe one is actor pitch and one is a movie pitch. Just a thought 🙂
Why not change the background for these ones, to differentiate them. I enjoyed it though.
He playes himself over and over again. 10/10 great actor.
It works it’s why I watch him the guy is badass and charismatic and that’s all I need in a character most of the time

The Rundown is called Welcome To The Jungle in Australia.
I think it's "Welcome to The Jungle" in every country but the US - I saw it in the Czech Republic and it was "Welcome to the Jungle" there too!! My guess is that for American audiences, The Rundown sounded better.. or who knows!! It's weird how film titles get changed. I'm from the US but live abroad and whenever I go back, and people ask if I have seen a certain film, I always say "maybe" because I might have but with a different title.
Oh that's what that movie is. I watch it all the time. I didn't realise it had a different name. I always just knew it ad "welcome to the jungle"

this Pitch Meeting is like The Last Jedi. It subverts all expectations, is a new twist on an old formula and has no reason to include Mary Poppins. However unlike TLJ, this video is tight!
