Props to you. I don't have the patience for this type of stuff. I have a 4wd slash ultimate that I tore down to the chassis to replace a dif and cracked chassis and throw on some upgraded arms and shock towers, etc and it still isn't finished after 2+ years lol. I blame covid as I took almost 2 years off RC because this hobby gets expensive.
Man, that's sweet C10!! Love the slammed look!! It's scale wich is BAD ASS!! It would be awesome drift truck or road ripper, but I would be scared to roll it or wreck it, LOL!! Again it's a Sweet build. Gives me Ideas!! Stay safe and bash on from Colorado!!!
I stretch RC18T chassis like that all the time. Plenty stiff. The only difference is I put the aluminum on the outside of the plastic chassis. It keeps the aluminum lower and not cause as much contact with your interior.
Loving it! Done very similar many times with TT01s and my CC01 but realised the CC01in stock set up is almost perfect wheelbase for a Blackfoot shell. Now it's a faux Ford Ranger XLT! 😁👍
Looks awesome! Really cool project. I thought I was alone in building chassis like this. You would probably get a kick out of my 1/10 trucks lol. Thank you for making your videos, I have learned a lot from you.
Well I wasn't expecting that. Saws chassis in half in the first minute. Cool approach to get the 313mm. I had to go back and watch this again. This is really a great repurpose of a Tamiya chassis. Is there still hope for the ramp truck on a different chassis someday? This Chevy on that extended Tamiya chassis is perfect. Looks sweet. Gonna need bearings someday
Hey thanks for the great inspiration- I have been stalled out on a similar build with a TA-02. After many hours to make a custom alu chassis to fit, and a homemade steering setup,I could not find the right tire and wheel setup to satisfy what I was looking for, so it’s been sitting on the shelf of frustration. Those wheels look perfect. ps- I only hope mine turns out 1/2 as nice as yours. Thanks for the unique tips on so many out of the park builds.
Hey bud, they make a bunch of 2.2” drift wheels and tires now as well. I see them on eBay. Tons of different styles and a lot cheaper than this setup I’m running. I kind of felt like I was cheating using a touring car chassis at first but really it’s combined my 2 favorite type of rc into one. Once I get the body done I’ll have to come back a deck out the chassis. 😝
It started out as an RC4wd K5 blazer body, took 2 of them and chopped them up. Companies like ShrinkRC now makes printed parts to do the conversion a whole lot easier.

Really cool build really digging that c10, can’t wait to see this one finished.
Awesome build. Now you’re making me want to break mine out and start chopping 😂

Very cool! That's really thinking outside the box, or should I say bed 😜 Have always loved those wheels too.

This thing is awesome!!!! Absolutely love it!! Looks like the 73 Cheyenne super 10 my brother had when I was a kid
That is going to be a nice rig when finished!
I know it can be difficult to make a clean standard body custom build.
Another great build!!!

You should look into the plastic sheets the car audio guys use for amp racks etc. Might save you a small forchune from having to use aluminum
Pretty slick!
I’ve been waiting for you to do something with this body for a long time lol it’s gona look sweet 🤙
Great job Buddy lookin sweet !!
Love this! Mirrors might be a touch big? But hey this truck is awesome!
Keep on keepin on!
if you wanted a narrow axle, brx70 is a good choice.

hello friend, the truck is looking very 👍🏻... I have a question, where can I get a truck like that? greetings from Veracruz-Mexico 🇲🇽
It’s an Rc4wd k5 blazer body cut up and made into the pickup. Shrink rc makes some printed pieces now to create it
@@RCeveryday fantastic 👌🏻 it's looking great
