I wish I read the book instead of watching this…now I’ve just had the general story spoiled to me in a minute and a half. I managed to avoid doing this with 1984 for two years and yet, somehow, I gave in within a matter of months with this one

My favorite moment in the book was when judge holden said "wow this meridian sure is bloody" and then the kid said "what are you holden" and the judge replied "holden deez nuts"
I like the last scene where judge meets the kid , says “well, this west is sure wild” and they laugh and they go drink hot chocolate together and the whole town erupts into the dance. At least two statements here are true

He's way too short. The Judge is like 7 feet tall and I think Dean Norris is 5'7. Obviously finding a good actor that is 7 foot would be inpossible but Dean is just too short to even pretend to be that tall.

I don't remember what he did *(to the Kid, specifically and directly that is)* before the end that stuck out, though it's easy to miss things due to McCarthy's minimalism sometimes.
