I can understand this as a story and how it is helpful, how God is with us in our trials, and but I can't take this as a literal story. My mind simply won't let me. What can I do, anything?
Thanks for your question. It is a good sign that you want to believe the stories are literal even though you’re having difficulty. Below are four suggestions. One suggestion is to ask yourself a question about God. If you truly believe there is a God, do you think that He could do things that are beyond our comprehension? Could He do what is impossible to our own reasoning? Or do you think that you have sufficient intelligence to explain God and His ways? Consider the book of Job and how God responds to Job from a whirlwind in Job chapter 38. Consider reading the questions posed to Job and how you might respond. Another suggestion is to continue reading the Bible. Closely examine the stories beginning from Creation all the way to the Cross. Get to know the character of God as it is described, explained, and demonstrated throughout the narratives, history of the Jewish people, and the works and words of Christ. You will find an infinitely loving God who is restoring man into His own image and inviting him to join Him and His heavenly family. Another suggestion is to pray and ask God to help your unbelief. God will hear every sincere pray and move on that persons behalf. God will help you with your unbelief. Take a step of faith and believe that He will answer your prayer. One final suggestion is to critically examine your own life. Are you living in disobedience? Is there anything in your life that is grieving the Holy Spirit? God wants His children to live obedient righteous lives. Disobedience will cause the heart to harden and make it difficult to discern the truth. However, God is a God who is quick to forgive and heal us of any mistakes we have made, provided we come to Him for forgiveness. Please continue to critically examine all of our videos. Problem is after so many years on front-line, the body is destroyed….lost job, some disability, loss family, friends, church, etc., from all the destruction that comes with front line work, and not knowing a word of scripture. So studying His word and sharing is a must. Lost some speaking voice, so switched to sharing on FB and e-mail teaching others. Always have a burden for souls.

DANIEL CHAPTER 3 Chapter 1: Nebuchadnezzar had just brought back the best of the children of Israel into Babylon. They began to train them in the ways of the heathen, changing their names, diet, and manner of life. Four of their young men, princes from Judah, from the lineage of King David- Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, whose names were changed to Belteshazzar, Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego. Despite all these, they remained true and faithful to their beliefs in the God of Israel alone. They asked for and found favor with the officers in charge of their welfare. Their God rewarded them by honoring their faith. They were not worse off than the rest who compromised their faith but were even better in every way. Chapter 2: Nebuchadnezzar had a dream which he forgot, and asked his best officials and wise men to use their powers and wisdom to help him remember, but they told him no man could be asked to do so, because it was way beyond anyone could, it was completely out of this world- so to speak, and even berated him for daring to this ask of them. In anger, Nebuchadnezzar sent to gather them all and kill them, because he believed everything they had been seeing by divination and telling him thither-to, were all lies, and he was being made a fool of. Daniel asked for 3 days to ask His God. He got the answer and gave the revelation to the king. The king then went ahead to commission to build the image in his dream, but make it all gold, instead of golden head, silver chest and arms, brass belly and thighs, legs of iron, and feet part iron part clay. The king wanted an everlasting kingdom, which meant that he was going to make the word of God void! He forgot about the Stone that suddenly appeared to destroy it completely, and this Stone eventually became a great mountain which filled the whole earth! This is the kingdom of the God of Israel! Nebuchadnezzar then acknowledged the God of Daniel after he first idolized Daniel (2:46-48). Chapter 3: Nebuchadnezzar got all his officials together- princes, governors, ( Executive) law makers, (Legislative), treasurers (Financial institutions), Judges (Judiciary), the Counselors (Human Services), Sheriffs (Law Enforcement, police, military etc.), and all local government officials, and the Herald (The Media), verses 1-7. All of these are represented to enforce mandates in their different capacities. They were all commanded to stand before the image while everyone else worldwide was to listen to the SOUND and then a) fall down before the image, b) worship the image or c) be cast into the midst of the fiery furnace. The law enforcement officials were commanded to arrest, bind, and cast the three Hebrew boys into the fiery furnace. They did and were completely burned and were not accounted for at the end of the day, verses 20-22, 27. Jeremiah 20:29, implies that Nebuchadnezzar had burned many priests alive to threaten the boys to give in to him, because these were supposed to be the priests of this same God, who didn't save them from the power of the flames. These boys still stood their ground putting on their helmet of salvation, (hats); breastplate of righteousness (coats); girdle of truth ( hosen); garments of praise (other garments), as they were cast into the fiery furnace which was heated seven more times, so they could recant their faith in their God! But they stood their ground! Verses12-22. These boys finally fell down bound in the midst of the furnace, but only before the Lord their God, who was already in the midst of the fiery furnace, awaiting their faith to be tested, tried and true and rewarded! Again, Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged the sovereignty of their God and made another proclamation mandating the whole world to honor, reverence Him, or face the consequences verses 26-29. He then abdicated the throne after he tried to arrogate all he acquired to his ability (chapter 4) but was instantly judged. The story ended with his grandson, Belshazzar, as king. (He didn't learn from history and was doomed to repeat it chapter 5,and God judged the whole kingdom for what they did to His people). God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whosoever doesn't learn from history are doomed to repeating it!!!
The text does not indicate where Daniel was. There are many possible explanations. One is that he was on a diplomatic mission for the king and was in a distant part of the empire at the time of the dedication of the image. Please watch part 2 because this is a vital life lesson for today. We explain how forced and false worship will emerge in end-time events and make a one-for-one comparison with the same events in Revelation 13 (the mark of the beast struggle). God wants His people ready for end-time events which will soon take place. It's not a time to fear but a time to be ready. In these last days there will be another image set up and we see in Revelation that all the world worshipped the beast, its image, or the number of his name. The ones who reject the worship of the beast, its image, or the number of his name are found Keeping the Commandments of God and having the faith and testimony of Jesus.
So that’s how Paul and Peter became witnesses in trials. No wonder felt His presence so strongly and powerfully IN front line work. And His miracles, though didn’t focus on them, didn’t understand anything or why. Even saw His hand in bringing large amount of pp to me for so many years. But lots of destructions to vehicle, home, health, etc. Constant SUV’s, bus, ran into me but kept running on front line. Frequent tire blow outs, fir tree fall on home, neighbor’s kids saw off door knob after giving cases of GC books and bibles to an Indian Reservation, etc., etc. Just kept running like William Tyndall but didn’t know why all the destructions. About 13 major surgeries, etc.
The king made an image The image was made of gold Everyone must worship this image The word from the king was told All of the important people Gathered for its dedication With expectations of everyone To worship from all of the nations One is supposed to sound The horn, flute, harp, and lyre At the sound, worship this image Or you will be thrown into a furnace fire Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego Refuse to do such a thing But how dare they defy The powerful Babylonian king The three will not offend By worshiping an idol God The price of king was humiliated He ordered for them to be tied They were thrown into the furnace Which was heated seven times more But there was an extra man Walking the furnace floor Instead of a troubled trium I see a peaceful quad And the mysterious fourth man He looks like the Son of God What has happened here? I have not seen this in all my days Please come out there Your God deserves all the nations' praise Everyone should show respect To their God to whom they're devoted Because of their faith in God The three were all promoted (By Esther Coleman-Spells)

In these last days there will be another image set up and we see in Revelation that all the world worshipped the beast, its image, or the number of his name. The ones who reject the worship of the beast, its image, or the number of his name are found Keeping the Commandments of God and having the faith and testimony of Jesus.
So that’s how Paul and Peter became witnesses in trials. No wonder felt His presence so strongly and powerfully IN front line work. And His miracles, though didn’t focus on them, didn’t understand anything or why. Even saw His hand in bringing large amount of pp to me for so many years. But lots of destructions to vehicle, home, health, etc. Constant SUV’s, bus, ran into me but kept running on front line. Frequent tire blow outs, fir tree fall on home, neighbor’s kids saw off door knob after giving cases of GC books and bibles to an Indian Reservation, etc., etc. Just kept running like William Tyndall but didn’t know why all the destructions. About 13 major surgeries, etc.
The king made an image
The image was made of gold
Everyone must worship this image
The word from the king was told
All of the important people
Gathered for its dedication
With expectations of everyone
To worship from all of the nations
One is supposed to sound
The horn, flute, harp, and lyre
At the sound, worship this image
Or you will be thrown into a furnace fire
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
Refuse to do such a thing
But how dare they defy
The powerful Babylonian king
The three will not offend
By worshiping an idol God
The price of king was humiliated
He ordered for them to be tied
They were thrown into the furnace
Which was heated seven times more
But there was an extra man
Walking the furnace floor
Instead of a troubled trium
I see a peaceful quad
And the mysterious fourth man
He looks like the Son of God
What has happened here?
I have not seen this in all my days
Please come out there
Your God deserves all the nations' praise
Everyone should show respect
To their God to whom they're devoted
Because of their faith in God
The three were all promoted
