The least I was expecting was for her to hug Laurent once last time. I knew her husband was there, but I thought she would say goodbye the American way. Just like he "did"
Yeah hugging could've been a great way to end things in 'American way' but we should keep in mind this was a bollywood movie where hugging is consider a huge expressions of love haha. And since she was married and was also a very loyal wife it would've been absurd to show her hug her new friend. French guy for sure was a great friend and a person so how things ended was shown nicely I loved it.
