i spent half a day fighting the lower on my 01 ram....heat...air hammer...press ...you name it...finally got it....i would have paid the 2k that day as i was so mad but not now lol
i have two inch thick steel plates (foot long each)with holes on each side , and long threaded rods . makes square press frame with low size bottle jack . large 1 inch or 3/4 sockets , for fitting balljoints on my mercedes sprinter .
That’s a nice tool, but I’m not spending $2000 I would have to be doing at least three ball joint jobs a week to even halfway justified that I just dropped. The video called. 98 E450 upper lower ball joint inner wheel bearing radius arm bushing pitman arm and outer tie rod that video is 3 1/2 hours long E450 is considered a light duty medium truck and I did the ball joints With a regular ball drain press, no problems. It was a little fumbling around, but overall wouldn’t that bad so in order for me to buy that tool either, I will have to get it extremely cheap or I would have to be doing a lot of ball joint jobs a week to justify that
I clicked on your channel because I could not resist The Adorable fur baby!!!
I’m a cmc machinist, I made a set just like that for under $200. Sold couple of them for $600. No need to buy Matco or Snap-On.
Would you ever make more? I'd buy one from you.
I would love to have you make one for me
Let's see it
