    When Sara returned pregnant I knew exactly what happened. She had an affair and her husband threw her out because the child wasn't his.

      Spine at end, but OP should lawyer up and press for all the money paid for wedding loan repayments and general expenses paid. Would let sperm donors expenses slide.
      But go NC with useless sperm donor, and malicious manipulate incubator. Block them everywhere. Get an RO if they attempt contact. Get cameras and security system set up, plug a couple of big dogs of a breed that are good with kids but also good guard dogs. Password lock kid's school, grand parents are not to collect daughter.
      Lastly consider moving without giving address to any family.

      When someone grows up in a toxic environment like this, being treated badly becomes normalized for the person. In other words, even though the person hates the way they're being dumped on, at the same time they don't see it as necessarily wrong, especially if the mistreatment comes from parents. It can take decades for the person to break free of this kind of programming and see the dysfunctional family interactions the way someone from a healthy background sees it. I believe that's why these kinds of stories are so important, especially for the people who've gone through these kinds of situations.

    Having grown up with a "Golden Child Sister", I can identify with OP. The good thing is, this forges us into self-reliant independent adults. 👍

    Why can't they ask SARAH to pay off her own wedding loan? Erica is too soft, too good with her parents.

      Sweetie, this is a made-up story, like the soaps on TV many years ago. I love reading or listening to them and only get upset when the story isn't fitting and something is left out! I'll listen and say, where did that come from? What? Who's this? What college fund? That's when I get upset. These writers send in scripts, the Internet people buy them and pay the scriptwriters. The ads shown (just like commercials on the old TV Soaps) pay the Internet people, very well, I might add. Don't get too involved sweetie, they're made up stories. Enjoy them.

    Erica allowed herself to become a doormat for her parents. She never once stood up for herself and her daughter. Why would her parents change? They were clueless, and Erica never challenged them or explained herself.

    The parents might have taught Sarah that they would fix her messes, but Erica taught her parents that she would fix their messes. It’s a fictional story, but these things do happen in families.

    Should've made the the condition that if she paid the mortgage then the house title be in her name. Then if thrown out sell the fricking house. That's a very important issue to make clear.
    Her parents don't deserve her help not one bit. She did help because of them being "family" that one time. Good thing she didn't sell her apartment so had some where to live.

      This paragraph is for the author. Every time that you use the name Emily in any story, you will never get a like form me. Not only that, but there are many others like me. So, continue on, and try to get money for these stories. Remember, you NEED us readers/listeners, but we do NOT need you.

      @@BuilderofRat I don't understand why people get so uptight about a name! (At least it's a name which never gets mispronounced!)
      Don't forget that, after many requests, they changed to western names to make it easier for the readers, and I think it's a bit much to start dictating what to do or not do in their stories.

    • @BuilderofRat
      @BuilderofRat 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@karenbrown1485 Well Karen, like I have said many times, these authors need us and our "likes," we do not need them. The fact that sooooooo many of these stories follow the same story outline takes away from the story in general. They even use the same "click bait" thumbnails. When I see that, I do not click. Some of these stories have a few plot-twists, and I throughly enjoy them, and I always comment that I really do enjoy their story.
      I would not call it "dictating" as much as I would call it constructive criticism. After all, the only reason that they generate these stories is for money. The more that they improve, the more money that they make.
      Your comment, and mine helps these authors. There is a lot more content on TH-cam to keep me entertained, so it is in their best interests to improve their stories. I am soooooooo happy that some of the authors have in fact started using western names.
